When he saw her staring at a box, he impulsively reached to help her thinking she wanted to take it out.
"Do you want to open it?" Qin Nanyu asked softly, holding the box.
Ji Weitian snapped back to reality, hastily threw the blanket and pillow onto the bed, turned around, took the box from him, and carefully checked it to make sure everything was fine before she breathed a sigh of relief.
Initially, Qin Nanyu hadn't cared much about what was inside the box, but seeing how concerned she was stirred his curiosity.
"Your little treasury?"
Yaoyao had a little treasury at four years old, and Qin Nanyu didn't doubt she had learned that from Ji Weitian.
He was indeed curious about what she kept in her little treasury.
"It's not what you think, just some old stuff," Ji Weitian replied dismissively.
After she spoke, she didn't give Qin Nanyu a chance to probe further, turned around, and placed it back in the wardrobe and closed the door.
Qin Nanyu's bed was already made.
