"Do you have anything to say before you are sentenced? Or rather would you like to explain what caused this mess" Lissandra asked while Lawrence kneeled into his broken room. Wallace and Suzanne were acting as both the jury and the bailiffs.
"I plead the fifth" Law said with a grim look on his face. He had been a thief in his past life no lawyer, he couldn't talk his way out of a parking ticket.
"Very well, since the accused has not proven his innocence or shown remorse thus, he shall be persecuted with the full force of the law. Is there any that disagrees?" Lissandra asked while Lawrence looked at Wallace and Suzanne in hope. They just stared back before looking away and saying nothing.
"No one has come in the defense of the accused, shall be sentenced. He has shall first be grounded for a month. He shall not be allowed to remain at home alone, and he has no longer have his full independence until he has earned back the trust he has lost. Finally, he shall be escorted around the university, and through all of his classes with a separate party to determine if his attitude at school need fixing." Lissandra said with a smug look on her face.
"You can't babysit me at university, I'm going to be the laughing stock of everyone there. Please, anything but that?" Lawrence pleaded.
"No, there shall be no mercy. You have been sentenced!" Lissandra said in a firm voice as Lawrence slumped down in depression. A few minutes passed before Law stood up and hugged Lissandra was repeatedly apologizing. He wasn't trying to get out of his punishment, he was just truly sorry for scaring them. When they had arrived home, Lawrence had tried to dissuade them from entering his room, and instead of being put off they immediately went there.
When the three saw the state of his room, they instantly began panicking while looking over Lawrence for any injuries. They were worried that he had been hurt in what looked like wreckage after a small tornado. After soothing them, they had asked him what happened only to be met with a pathetic lie. On the spot, the only lie that he thought off in front of his worrying family was that a small earthquake had happened in just his room. Thus, earning him three deadpan looks, and beginning what he would always remember as a farce of a trial.
"Can I know who is going to be babysitting me one of the most prestigious universities in the country, Barvard?" Lawrence asked after everyone had calmed down.
"Sure Law, but just remember you have no say in this anymore," Wallace said while smiling happily.
"Yes, Yes, I understand. Can you just tell me who I'm going to have to deal with for the next 2 years?" Lawrence said while glaring at the smiling man.
"Law, it's 4 years, not 2," Suzanne said with a smug look on her face for having to correct her brother.
"It's four for mongrels, not for a king like me," Law said while acting like a certain golden king
"Okay, sure. You're going to be watched over by Susan, Johnny's big sister. She a few years older than you, but she's a certified genius who graduated from high school at a very early age. Well, not early compared to you, but early compared to the average children" Wallace said while Law was inwardly shocked.
'I'm going to be going to school with Susan Storm. This is going to be f*cking amazing' Law though while hiding his excitement expertly.
"She's the one of the nicest girl's, I've ever met. She was there picking up Johnny when we decided to go pick up Suzanne. She's a kind girl, with a bright mind. But, unlike you, she's still as outgoing as other teens." Lissandra said with a sweet smile on her face.
"You should get ready for school tomorrow, after your two-year hiatus, you're finally going to university tomorrow to check out the campus. So, get ready for your first day Law" Wallace said while beginning to prepare dinner. And so, Lawrence did just that, and while having to sleep in your little sister's room was embarrassing, he was still excited for what the next day would have in store for him.
The night quickly passed, and Lawrence had all his notebooks and everything else he needed in his small child-sized backpack. He was eating breakfast when he heard the doorbell ring and bolted to it. He was excited to meet Susan Storm, and to scare the shit out of Johnny. After all, he was punk in the comics, a good-hearted punk maybe, but punk never the less.
As soon as he opened the door he was greeted with a beautiful blonde-haired teenager, with bright blue eyes. She looked nothing like Jessica Alba, and instead had the appearance of a younger Susan Storm from Marvel 616. Behind her was a young Earth 616 Johnny storm cowering in fear.
"Hello, you must be Susan Storm, it's nice to meet you, I'm Lawrence Napier," Law said as he stuck out his hand.
"And, you must be America new youngest genius. You're cuter in real life than the pictures," Susan said while winking and shaking his hand.
"Do you want to come inside; my parents are really happy to be meeting with you?" Lawrence said with a smile on his face.
"Sure, lead us in," Susan said happily, while Johnny remained behind her back. Lawrence quickly led her into the kitchen where the rest of his family was waiting for them. And, before anyone could stop him, he pulled Johnny to the side quickly, while Susan was distracted.
"You hurt my little sister in any way, or decide to mess with her in any capacity, I will slowly snap you back, and stitch your mouth to your rectum. I'll make you a one-person human centipede. Do you understand me?" Lawrence said with a deadly aura around him, which had only been enhanced since he began his cultivation.
Johnny quickly began nodding his head so rapidly that he almost knocked himself out.
"Good now smile for the family. Ohh, and if you tell anyone what happened, I'll know, and I'll exact my form of punishment" Lawrence said while waving happily Susan who had just noticed them.
"What are you guys talking about?" Susan asked while looking at a nervously smiling Johnny.
"Oh, I was just asking him about the school, and telling him that telling him about a new garbage disposal system that I was thinking about creating," Lawrence said happily while Johnny put up a fake happy smile.
"Well, I'm happy that Johnny's making new friends. But we have had to get going if we want to finish the full campus tour. So, come one we have to go." Susan said while pulling him by the arm.
Law quickly said his goodbyes, before shaking Johnny's hand and wondering if he had broken the poor boy.
'Well, I'll check him over later' Law thought while getting his belongings. They were quickly out of the door, and into a public bus heading towards their university. Throughout the trip, Susan and Law were discussing their fields of study, while also talking about their personal lives.
Susan was surprised to learn that Suzanne and Lawrence were both adopted children, who had luckily found a home with the kind and generous parents such as Lissandra and Wallace.
While Lawrence was shocked by how different Susan and Johnny's lives were from the comics and the movies. Their parents had been business owners who invented and sold medical technologies to the poor and less affluent. Susan and Johnny both had happy lives until their parents suddenly died in a car crash, that left the siblings alone and orphaned. As soon as their parents died, their company Storm technologies have been shut down and they were forced to live with their old and strict grandmother. They were lucky that they both had such a large and secure trust fund because otherwise they would have been bled to death by their greedy relatives.
Lawrence was both shocked at sadden at the news and comforted a now downed Susan Storm.
'I really shouldn't have been so hard on Johnny. Dammit, now I feel bad. I can't do anything right now, but as soon as we meet him again, I'll apologize. I hope I haven't scared him off, I don't want Suzanne losing another friend because of my paranoia' Lawrence thought while patting Susan on the back.
Their trip around the University had been entertaining and both could not say they gained another true friend.
As they were heading back to the buses to return home from Lawrence's tour, Law saw the final two members of the fantastic four waiting at the same bus stop.
'Well this is going to be interesting' Law thought while dragging a Susan behind him.
