Chapter 1 - Meta essence

Essence of the Supernatural Organization

You gain ownership of your very own supernatural organization that is dedicated to whatever goal you may have in mind whether it is the protection of humanity, keeping the supernatural a secret or simply being your own band of fanatical minions.

This organization starts out with a single headquarters with no other holdings beyond it. The headquarters is a sprawling complex fitted with advanced manufacturing facilities, cutting edge labs, medical facilities, well stocked armories and supply storage, and other vital sections you would expect. This headquarters can take the general form of what you prefer whether it be out in the open, a hidden bunker complex, or a well disguised front. The headquarters is protected from effects that might destroy or effect it such as reality warping, magic, psionics, and any other exotic thing you can think of. It is similarly hardened against conventional attack or indirect such as cyberwarfare.

The organization can supply all the manpower required for itself by default all personnel being highly skilled clones that are educated to the top of their fields within the range of what is humanly possible. Any killed including you can be recovered as they can be re-cloned with the memories, soul, and other essential bits they had up until death with any damage no matter how exotic repaired. So fret not, anyone re-cloned unless you create a new clone will indeed be the same entity that bit the dust. All personnel will be loyal to you even more so depending on the nature of the organization. You can even have the whole organization be semi autonomous drones with you controlling them like an Overmind if you are really paranoid. The machinery used can also give pre-programed skill packages just in case you wanted to learn how to do mongolian throat singing. The only restriction is that the skills are things humans are capable of, as you add more races or capabilities to your organization this can be rectified.

Your organization has already developed or acquired several key capabilities.

The first is your organization has a way to accurately plot and teleport or open portals to different locations and entirely different dimensions or universes. It can bypass any defenses or protections that would otherwise stop this travel unless it is overwhelmingly powerful. The organization can build stable portals for easy and continued access to these locations.

The second is that your organizations scientists can develop and rapidly reverse engineer technology, supernatural abilities, items, magic, psionics, and races if they have access to samples. The larger the sample the easier it is to replicate but the more powerful it is the longer it will take. These breakthroughs can be used to upgrade your personnel or develop new technology based on these powers and races, even creating your own superbeings. With enough effort you might even be able to rid any major vulnerabilities from whatever you managed to get a hold of. It has already developed top of the line technology decades ahead of your world such as honest to god fully enclosed power armor, man portable fusion reactors, reliable and mass produced cybernetic augments, gauss and railgun technology and autonomous drones among other things.

The third is that your organization has developed shielding that can block the strongest of supernatural powers. Devices that project fields that cancel reality warping or chaotic magic and restraints that can reduce beings of middling power to being just as helpless as an average human. Study can improve the effectiveness of these restraints. The organization can further safely store otherwise volatile or supremely corruptive individuals or items without issue once.

The fourth is your organization and you by extension are filthy stinking rich. You always seem to have more then enough money and it practically falls into your lap. The economy never seems to go wrong whenever your organization interacts with it, any outside interference is not covered. Your organization can change its currency as required converting in part or whole its money for whatever locality it is considered legitimate

By drinking this liquid that looks and taste of the cosmos, you gain any of the following from the below two

Perks

A New You: You may change your species to any you see fit. With this, you may change your appearance to fit within the norms of your selected species. Should you choose to be a hybrid, you may decide which attributes of which selected species you have. You gain any benefits from your selected species, but none of their weaknesses/drawbacks. In addition, you are now a 'prime example' of your species. Whatever the natural lifespan for your species is, you will live at least half more on top of that. While you will still age, neither your body nor your mind will degrade from lack of use or due to the ravages of time (no loss of 'gains'). You may choose if any of your additional benefits are inherited by your offspring. This also comes with basic survival skills for your new setting.

Noble Bearing: You are of noble blood. The universe recognizes this, and as a result, you are naturally a bit better at everything than others. Those that meet you can sense that you come from higher breeding. All of your descendants will inherit your noble blood, and the benefits that come from it (whether you want to pass this along or not). How this applies to your new life is up to you.

Special Training: This grants you the training and skills of a member of an elite force. What exactly this training entails is up to you, though remember that members of an elite force are the best of the best because they can survive in most situations where others would fail. As such, you have an unrelenting will and unshakable mind, making you resistant to the effects of pain. And remember, fear is for the weak.

Space Magic: If your setting has some form of esoteric/exotic energies that can be considered 'magic' (or similar to it), you now have access to it. Whether that's 'the Force' from Star Wars, biotics from Mass Effect, or anything similar, you can utilize it without any of the potential or associated drawbacks. How this is applied is up to you.

Null: You become a 'Blank'. No form of pre-cognition, scrying, esoteric viewing, etc., works on you,

rendering you both invisible and immune to them.

Augmentation: You have been augmented, biologically and/or technologically. Subdermal armor? Neural implant interface? Genetically modified organs? Even if you are the 'prime' of your species, you can always push yourself further. What augmentations you have and how they impact your body is up to you.

Pilot: You can now operate all standard vehicles from your setting. If licensure is required, you now have Any vehicles you encounter in the future will be easy for you to learn to operate, as piloting anything (car, mecha, spaceship, etc.) is natural to you.

Gains: Anything you train in you learn at a greatly accelerated rate. Anything you know and teach will be learned by others at an accelerated rate. You may decide how this is applied.

SCIENCE!: This comes with a pure intelligence boost. You have perfect recall and infinite memory storage. You may pick any number of knowledge bases from any setting (it does not need be from your current setting), and you now know everything from those knowledge bases. If you desire, you may limit a knowledge base to a specific faction. This perk is beyond just knowledge. You are also an 'engineer', someone who can utilize knowledge. You can flawlessly 'black-box' your technology. Your technology is also 'Ragnarok Proofed', meaning it will withstand the ravages of time. In addition, you can protect your technology from corruptive/corrosive forces (such as demonic/dark energy). You can extend this protection to living beings through your technology.

Research: Any new technology or knowledge you acquire you will easily understand with a bit of study. Even 'black-boxed' technology will only prove to be a minor inconvenience. With a small amount of effort, you will be able to seamlessly integrate any new technologies with your own (even if the knew technology is far superior to your own).

Merchant: You are an expert at making money, whether it is through businesses, financing, or trading. Should you require capital for some venture, you will find it easy to acquire what is needed. This perk will not overcome a bad reputation, so if you make promises to business partners, you may want to live up to them.

Administration: You have a natural ability to streamline the 'paperwork' that any organization may require. You can turn even the slowest of monolithic organizations into an agile and well-oiled one, whether it be a company or massive bureaucracy.

Computers: Your proficiency with programming, hacking, and coding is second only to true AI. This also comes with the ability to multitask to an unnatural degree.

Leadership: You are the 'Commander', a person who gets results. You have a natural understanding of tactics and strategies. You understand how to utilize the talents of those around you. When you speak, people will listen to you.● Charisma: You have the ability to sway the hearts and minds of others with your words, winning over the most skeptical with a bit of effort. Others consider you influential, and will want to earn your favor.

Objects of Interest

Basic kit: This bundle includes everything you'll need to get you started in your setting. Clothes, environmental suits, armor, weapons and ammunition, tools, personal equipment, a small vehicle (up to the size of a small space craft), and a modest but comfortable dwelling.

Resources: This will supply you with the physical resources/minerals you need for your technology, no matter how rare or obscure it is. If you desire, this will also import a resource from outside the setting, making it naturally available in your setting. This can also carry over into other settings (should you have/gain that ability), if you so desire. How this applies is up to you.

Companions: This allows you to take someone (or multiple someones) with you to your new setting. They may be real or fictional, dead or alive. This is not bound by any constraints.

Portal: This is a device that allows you to travel to other settings. How it works or is applied is up to you.

Manufacturing: This provides you with a facility (or machinery) that will break down matter and reassemble it in into materials or components. The scale of this is versatile, capable of producing the smallest of materials all the way up to large spaceships. The machinery has a built in power supply to allows it to convert energy into matter. This comes with the ability to build more manufacturing units/facilities/machines.

Enslavement Tools: This includes a variety of items/tools (of your choosing, could be both mundane or supernatural or anything else you may imagine) that are effective in making others subservient to you. These tools cannot be removed/disabled without your authorization, and are robust enough to last as long as its bearer does. These tools can be incorporated into your other technologies, even into yourself with the correct augmentation.

Data Core: This is the knowledge base of a single faction or people's technology, from any setting or time period. You have a basic understanding of the technologies included in the knowledge. This device will provide step-by-step instructions for implementing, from nothing, any technology included in the data core. You may acquire as many data cores as you desire when you enter the setting.

Life Archive: This is an archive of the data of 'life' for any setting, whether it is real or not (even a modified setting such as fanfiction). The genetic data contains only the best possible samples, from the most powerful and interesting subjects (you may include any individuals you wish). This also include metaphysical data, such as memories and souls, allowing for the true cloning of individuals whose samples are included in the archive. You may acquire as many life archives as you desire.

Revival Pod: This device, when keyed to an individual, will 'grab' their soul at the point of physical death/destruction, and revive it in a new body identical to their old one. This works automatically for you, in effect keeping you from permanently dying. This device also comes with an 'auto-doc', capable of treating any ailment or fixing any damaged/broken cybernetic implants and augmentations. The pod is incredibly robust, capable of surviving re-entry or even a nuclear explosion. You have the knowledge to create more.

Space Magic Pod: This device will infuse a subject with the local 'space magic', turning a mundane individual into something more. In addition, any 'space magic' you have from other settings can be infused into others with this pod. You have the knowledge to create more.

Stasis Pod: This device will place a subject in stasis, keeping them completely unaware of the passage of time while maintaining their body in same condition it was in when it entered. This also works as a perfect containment device, able to stop the powers/effects of the subject from effecting outside the pod. You have the knowledge to create more.

Life Tanks: A large set of tanks that can monitor and grow anything that can fit inside of it. These tanks can grow a full human in a matter of minutes. These come with the equipment to facilitate the implantation of skills, memories, ideas, and other information. In addition, they can modify their occupants, and will work on non-biological life, such as beings of energy or minerals or magical. Anything created in these tanks will have unbreakable loyalty to you, though you can disable this ability if you so desire. You have the knowledge to create more.

Anchor: A general purpose device that will project a field that enforces normal reality within its radius. Anything with this radius will remain unaffected by any supernatural phenomenon such as reality warping, paradoxes, time travel, degeneration of the universe, and about any other really nasty end normal humans wouldn't have much chance against. The strength of this field is variable. An anchor's intelligence is smart enough to let any strange powers you possess or any allies you register to work unimpeded while it cripples any enemies. You have the knowledge to create more.

Adaptive Neutralization Device: By feeding this device data on any target, it will work out how to modify a weapon or device to permanently destroy a target or anything closely related to it. Any modification will ensure healing, resurrection, or any esoteric method of restoration problematic for the target. You have the knowledge to build more.

Stabilizer: Exotic energies and malignant forces can sometimes run wild without any way to control them. This device, when anchored, will stabilize any of these energies, such as leylines, dimensional breaches, and forces or even tamp down on the output they have within a given area. These devices are simple to upscale or downscale. You have the knowledge to build more.

Communication Equipment: This advanced equipment allows for transmission across dimensions nearly instantly. It comes with unbreakable encryption, and can be used with less advanced communication devices (such as radios). You have the knowledge to build more.

Generator: This phone booth sized device is capable of generating endless amounts of energy from nothing on a large scale. By itself, it is capable of powering an entire continent without issues until the generator is destroyed. This generator is completely safe to use, and will never suffer from a catastrophic failure. It can easily be upscaled or downscaled. You have the knowledge to build more.

Chrono-Device: This device allows its user to manipulate the flow of time in their local area or direct it at specific targets. This also allows for time travel across any local timeline it can perceive at any point as well as preserve its user against paradoxes or erasure. While this device is built to personal scale, it can be upscaled or downscaled with little difficulty. You have the knowledge to build more.

Mobile Base: This construct serves as a mobile home or headquarters, taking whatever form you desire (such as a space station or underwater vessel). Its design and functions are up to you, as long as you have the technologies that could build it (or the locals could).

Installation: This is your main base, whose location and design is up to you, as long as you have the technologies that could build it (or the locals could). This comes with ownership of the land it is on, up to and including the entire planet. This land will come with fertile land and ideal weather, rich in the various resources you'll need. Your land may come with living subjects that acknowledge you as their rightful ruler. You can set the demographics, economy, culture, or every other facet of the location under your domain. If you so desire, you can expand your installation to multiple planets (limited only to your local solar system), allowing any structures/facilities you have to be spread across them.

Command Center: This is the center of your power, whether you are a warlord, emperor, or any other title you desire. It is outfitted with the most advanced technologies available to you, possesses advanced command and control capabilities, and powerful sensors to keep track of everything within its range. It is incredible durable, capable of withstanding the harshest of attacks from your enemies, and has defenses both internal and external that can repulse the most determined of attackers.

Arsenal: This underground storage facility is filled with weapons, ammunition, armor, equipment, rations, and anything else needed to bring into battle. This includes light vehicles for transport and the necessary logistical support equipment needed.

Garage: This underground facility contains an assortment of military grade vehicles and enough spare parts to keep them operational for hears and the necessary logistical support equipment needed.

● Hangar: This underground facility contains an assortment of aircraft and small-to-moderately sized spacecraft and enough spare parts to keep them operational for years and the necessary logistical support equipment needed.

Port: This underground facility contains an entire fleet of water-bound ships and enough spare parts to keep them operational for years and the necessary logistical support equipment needed.

War Vault: This secure vault contains an armies worth of killbots, construction drones, androids, massive siege bots, drone tanks, and any imaginable mechanical horrors needed to wage a war.

Genesis Vault: This secure facility is filled with plant samples, seeds, examples of animals stored in stasis, and special laboratories for biological study. This vault also contains a number of portable kits capable of terraforming. When a kit is deployed, it creates a habitable zone dozens of miles wide, cleaning up even the results of a nuclear epicenter the day after a strike. You have the knowledge to create more of these kits, upscaling or downscaling as needed.

Shipyard: This large and secure asset lays in orbit nearby. It contains a fleets worth of space worthy vessels of varying classes and age, either from the local setting or from what you can build. In addition, it contains all the necessary facilities and spare parts to maintain and repair your fleet for a long while, as well as the ability to produce more. If you so desire, you can make this well-hidden and unlikely to be found unless you intentionally lead others to it.

R&D Lab: This complex is filled with cutting edge technology, well-stocked workshops and fabrication areas. It is heavily reinforced, especially on the inside, to safely contain any experiments and research.

Manpower: This underground facility is filled with artificially grown individuals, each and every one secure in a stasis tank. They are all loyal, professional, and ready-to-go. The facility is able to house, feed, equip, train, and provide the basic needs for every single person within (and then some).

Maginot Line: This is a large network of defenses that are nearly impenetrable to conventional or unconventional assault, whether it be on land, sea, air, or space, capable of protecting all territory you control. Immune to reality and time manipulation, including loops, locks, and paradoxical erasure. You can

enter/exit loops/locks willingly, but cannot be trapped or harmed by paradoxes. If reality alters (e.g.,

Flashpoint), you retain all memories without ill effects.

Your supernatural core adapts to various spell/power systems, letting you use them innately. Initially, one high-scale spell daily; consistent use expands the core and accelerates its astronomical regeneration. Command esoteric energy, learn all abilities unrestricted by bloodlines (bloodline abilities take time). In worlds without magic, the core provides a generic energy (e.g., ki, mana) you must discover. Adaptation begins when visiting other worlds with different magical systems.

This starter kit offers an inventory system with unique features: unlimited storage, massive item stacks (up to 999), time manipulation for aging items, a junk section for easy disposal, and search/collection functions with material lists. Crafting benefits include an integrated window, synergistic professions (e.g., brewing/alchemy), universal crafting boosts, on-demand resource summoning (quality tied to craftsmanship), automated material sourcing via a fabricating drone, enhanced protection from multiple Essences, and breakdown functionality for items (e.g., cars, phones, houses) into useful materials with ingredient information. Loot and rewards come from diverse sources (enemies, competitions), with tiered rewards based on challenge. All events yield money and attribute improvements, with money exempt from economic disruption or tax scrutiny. The inventory has auto-loot and is secure from breaches, with usage perceived as normal. Your luck is incredibly potent. You're like a protagonist in those tales where every gamble at the casino, a few hands of blackjack, effortlessly leads to immense wealth, or where Lady Luck is always on their side. That's your reality now. Your luck is absurdly and astronomically high, and with time, you may even ascend to a deity of luck. You can now convert your cash into usable currency, even in locations where your original cash is not viable. This conversion will not negatively impact the economy.

In the Dragon Ball franchise, a pure heart signifies a being of unadulterated good or evil. This Essence, however, introduces a unique modification. It grants the ability to project an aura of either pure good or pure evil, circumventing any prerequisites imposed by power systems or items down to all levels. This effect is fiat backed.

Your soul-bound weapon evolves with you. Its default form is customizable and can be altered. Though initially mundane, its connection to you grants it immense potential. It gains new functions by absorbing other weapons or materials; similar effects stack, but no single material can be fed more than seven times. This weapon is exclusively yours; it cannot be wielded against you and can be recalled from any location. Your bond with it is unbreakable. Also included is a self-adapting training dummy. This dummy learns from your training, always remaining slightly stronger to provide an ideal partner. It can devise new combat strategies and adapts to damage taken. Made from an unidentifiable, indestructible material, it is completely loyal to you and can be valuable in open combat. Your personalized nanotech armor, a self-healing, sealed, and continuously upgradable suit, adapts and grows with you. It provides limitless power and materials, ensuring an unbeatable starting point for your unique style.

You gain a soul-bound, self-repairing, and self-cleaning pocket dimension: a 2,6 square km personal haven with a three-bedroom house (unfurnished but items brought in become fiat-backed and indestructible), a living room, dining room, kitchen, office, three basements, an attic, garden, gym, and garage. A soul-bound, fiat-backed Development Orb allows you to expand and alter your dimension by channeling energy. Supernatural changes must align with your abilities; new rooms have basic amenities, but specialized equipment is separate. You can grant access to others. Feeding blueprints to the orb constructs structures, and supplying raw materials adds them. The dimension evolves with you, becoming an impenetrable sanctuary; only you and those you permit can enter. For example, a dojo you build might enhance training.

You have the ultimate food box; its default size is the size of a trunk like the ones in Harry Potter but can be shrunk down for easy movement to the size of a matchbox or stored in your inventory. It is fiat-back so it can't be destroyed, and if stolen or destroyed it will return to your inventory in 24 minutes and is soul bound, man should not have to worry about his next meal.
