Third Person's Pov
When only the emperor, Lady Selena, the four princes and Lady MIya with few trusted eunuch and maids were left inside.
The atmosphere becomes more relax and comfortable not just for the Ladies but also for the over sensitive and warry gentlemens whose been very watchfull of their surroundings and barely enjoying themselves even the most outgoing princes Kaja and Valir.
" I'm happy to see all of you have fun during the celebration" the emperor said while having a big smile knowing too well that what he said is actually the exact opposite of the reality. He is just having fun to finally see the four untamed princes very tamed and concern of someone.
The Lady beside him can't help but giggled at his playfulness. " Your majesty don't make fun of the gentlemens they did work hard to keep the treasure secured", she said wearing a mischievous smile looking at the four whose having awkward appearance, well, except Prince Alucardd and Roger who were able to keep their neutral and unfaze look.
However, if you look closely both of their ears are somewhat burning in embarrassment.
Only Lady MIya seems not aware of the joke his Majesty is saying but everyone else understand clearly.
Lady Miya's Pov
I seem to feel something is right with the atmosphere after your majesty and Lady Selena spoke to the princes.
" Indeed your majesty, they prepared well ,I myself enjoyed my first official banquet" , I said while smiling genuinely.
I can hear giggles from the servants specially my very own maid Hilda. I look around puzzle.Soon even Lady Selena is giggling while his Majesty laughs aloud which somewhat confuse me even more. What makes them so happy ? I don't think what I said makes them have this kind of outbursts.
I turn to look at the four prince and I only have more confusion. Prince Kaja and Prince Valir both smiled awkwardly while scratching their head. While Prince Roger is kind of looking away I feel like his trying to keep himself invisible or he is just being his silent self.
On the other hand Prince Alucard, looks at me with his poker face before sighing which confuses me more. What now. Are they talking about something I'm not aware of.Isn't it about the banquet?
This situation is much more complicated than fighting, really.
Prince Alucards Pov
She's really unaware of everything, so naive. Father seems to be aware that the four of us has been watching closely of everything about her since the banquet starts that's why his been teasing us.
However, from her response I do think she enjoyed the successful banquet, but she's not aware that she's able to enjoy it without being distracted because of the four of us interfering to anyone who tries to approach her.
It might look like we are having conversation with the others for her but the truth is we are simply telling everyone to not make wrong move towards her and after that they seem to cower away understanding well that we don't want them to interrupt her conversations with the other ladies. We only let some trustworthy old guys to approach her for short while.
The way I look at her puzzled look to everyones outbursts I can't help but sigh.She maybe is good when it comes to defending herself for a certain degree, but she is still unable to catch on if someone with ill intent approach her.
Definety still needs our protection I really don't regret what we did or else their might really blood that was shed during the banquet earlier.
Third Person's Pove
"I'm glad that you're able to enjoy yourself", said Lady Selena to the puzzled young Lady.
" I think no one with ill intent tried to approach you ", she added and put on a knowing smile which is directed to the princes. She have notice how they stopped all young masters who tried to approach the young lady by acting like having casual conversation with them. She notice how the confident young masters all turn into cowards and some just don't have any other choice but to listen to the royals.
" I spoke with many good vassals of his Majesty which gives me relief knowing that his Majesty have many loyal subjects whom he can trust within the palace" the Lady said while nodding to herself.
"That is why I can focus more on his majesty's security mostly if he went out" the Lady keep this thought to herself while showing a gentle smile which she also receives from the two whose sitting in the throne.
" I am really lucky to have such a child on my side" said the emperor with all honesty. Lady Selena also nods in agreement.
The atmosphere turns into more relax state with no more playfulness but is more sincere.
"I am also happy to be able to serve your majesty", the Lady said.
" As for the four of you, I'd like to say that you did well today" , he said as he look at the four princes with a knowing look.
" We just did what we should your majesty", prince Alucard answered in formality, disregarddin the teasing look from his father knowing too well that he will keep on teasing them instead.
" Since it's already too late you may all take your leave and rest", the emperor said as he dismissed everyone before leaving along with Lady Selena.
Lady Miya's Pov
As his Majesty dismissed as all, I went out along with the prince.
" By the way Princes MIya really looks good with your dress tonight", prince Valir suddenly said which caught me by surprise. He really can say whatever he wants.
" Thank you, your highness my maid gives her all to dress me up so carefully" , I just answered, I really should give Hilda a bonus she's doing her job so well that also makes my identity to be kept so well.
"The princess really is humble and kind", prince Kaja added.
" The princes are really over praising me, you are not bad yourself", I just answered playfully.
" Still so naive", I turn to look at Prince Alucard and Prince Roger who nods in agreement to him after he said that.
" What does your highness meant with that?", I really don't know why he keep on looking at me as if I'm someone who is easy to fool.
"Just be more carefull of your surroundings next time", he added. Since his being considerate of my being then I'll just let it go for now, that its.
We all part ways and went to our own rooms to end the night.
