"In fact, you do know what I mean" her sweet smile began turning into a scary one. "How is a merchant of your class able to afford the best silk clothing by only selling shells? As well as having such little business coming your way. Others may not notice, but that doesn't mean that the regulators won't find out. Now I'll ask you one last time. I want to see your finest item, please don't make me repeat myself." She stared down the old man as he began sweating, her aura was so overpowering.
The merchant gave a nervous laugh, staring at this monster that decided to appear in front of him today. The last thing he needed was the regulators to come, it would ruin everything! "Alright, alright don't be too hasty" he tried backtracking with a small and fake smile on his face. He then pulled a small chest from under his vendor table and placed it in front of her. But he never got a chance to open it.
"I am afraid I am not here to play games" she warned in a dangerously low tone, now it was her turn to frown. She hated scammers.
Licking his lips in nervousness, he finally shook his head in agreement before pulling out a small black box from his sleeves and handing it to her.
She looked at the little black box and knew this was what she was looking for. The aura was familiar.
Carefully opening it, it's powerful aura only increased. However, only magic practicers with high grades can detect it and as luck would have it, she felt this weird powerful aura while passing through the market place yesterday, however with Lumos bothering her it distracted her from following up to look for the source.
This instantly made the treasure priceless. The item was a single vile that contained a very special elixir and incredibly rare. She had only ever seen something like this once before, but now another one has popped up.
The elixir is known for being able to enhance one's elemental power. It is incredibly hard to create and even if you take the elixir, there is a 50/50 chance it won't even work and can result in death if you don't take it properly.
She snapped the case shut, "How much for the item?" She asked the merchant trying to hurry before Amos threw a fit. She had felt that she was already gone for too long.
"You can have this treasure in exchange for a favor" a seductive feminine voice came from behind Scarlet. It seemed familiar, making Scarlet scrunch up her brows before turning around to see a black haired beauty standing just a little taller than her.
Scarlet smirked, as she stared back into the young girl's familiar hazel eyes. Scarlet crossed her arms, "Xia Long, what a misfortune of mine to stumble upon your sad shack-of- a- stall."
"Ah, indeed it is your misfortune, but it seems that I have what you need" Xia's grin widened and her beautiful eyes twinkled with excitement.
The two were caught in a stare off for a few more moments before the two broke the silence with laughter. Xia pounced on Scarlet engulfing her in a tight hug, squealing in delight as Scarlet wrapped her arms around Xia's slim waist and laughed along with her squeals.
