Queen Of The World - Ep.1
The sun rose from the east shining through the window straight at her face. Squinting her eyes, she gets up looking at the clock and realizing it's already morning.
"Oh God I am late for school," Leena thought.
She rushed downstairs after getting ready at the speed of light. She packed her books while rushing out the door. Sprinting through the streets, she started thinking about last night. She slowly remembered that after finishing her homework, she started playing games-until 3.
Approaching her school, Leena spotted her crush, Niel. Suddenly slowing down she made sure to keep a distance from him to make sure he didn't realize. Keeping this distance they walked to their lockers. Just before reaching her locker, she realized that someone was tapping her shoulder. Turning around, she realized it was Niel.
"Hey, good morning also hurry up or you're gonna be late", Niel said.
"Yeah, Yeah", Leena replied.
Niel walked away to meet with his friend, Leena grabs her books and heads to class.
The classroom is located on the opposite side of the school near the office. Inside there are four tables placed in an L shape on each side. There are about thirty stools that go with the four tables. Entering the classroom, on the left is the whiteboard. The right of the door is the storage room with art supplies. To the very back, there is a tall window with the teacher's desk and to the right is a space filled with cabinets and art supplies.
Leena enters the classroom and heads to the back where her friends sit from the very beginning of the school year. Niel also sits here not very close to any of Leena's friends but is with her. This is the main reason that they were well known as everyone shipped them together.
"Hey Leena, come here," said Mera. "Niel always looks at you and is caring for you. Don't you think that he likes you?"
"Nope, that's impossible since he rejected me on my birthday" "He didn't care at all but just said nope" replied Leena.
"Still, though boys exactly don't like telling girls how they feel "
"Well yeah but doesn't matter "
Leena always thought that Niel was still talking to her because it was known that once rejected, she would get over them fast and become friends with them again. This was just her way of thinking as she never thought that anyone would like her. This time though everything changed. Leena had never liked anyone for this long as it's almost halfway through the year but still likes him.
"Everyone quiet down please," said Ms Tan.
"Today in maths we are going to be doing worksheets with a partner.
Leena's and Niel's friends quickly paired with each other so they could be together. Leena did not like this idea as she knew their friends did it on purpose. Ms Tan handed the worksheets out as an announcement was made that The Queen would be visiting. She once in a while visited schools to see if changes need to be made. Niel and Leena were fooling around with each other and did not hear anything.
"Why do I have to be stuck with you?" Leena wined.
"You hate being with me or are you embarrassed? " Niel replied
" Why would I be embarrassed, it's just annoying. I have to teach you everything that you don't know."
"Well this is your luck day hehe"
Leena and Niel started working even though they kept getting distracted. Half an hour passed and the period was about to end when there was a knock. Ms Tan opened the door and the queen entered. Everyone went on their knees at once and the room became silent. Niel and Lenna were seated at the back not realizing anything. Suddenly Niel noticed it was too quiet and looked up.
"My lady, what are you doing here?" Niel yelled.
"What did you just call her? My l-a-d-y?" Leena said.
"Uhh nothing"
"You called the queen my lady just now right? "
"Nope"
" Stop arguing and bow to the queen, " Ms Tan said annoyed.
"No it's okay, these two would never need to bow to me," said the Queen.
