The Fermi paradox is one that is easily solvable. It states that the statistical high probability of extraterrestrial life and the lack of evidence of any is a paradox.
The reason is simple. The idiots who try to find others get found and absorbed (annihilated, enslaved, exploited, eaten, etc.).
This fate is inevitable for any planet that doesn't try to keep a low profile until they develop far enough.
