Pluto uses her orb to watch the moon kingdom in its ruin to see if can tell if anyone is alive. She sees the Queen walking around clearly devastated.
She spots something in the Queens hand. Pluto gasps "no, not the crescent moon wand". One of the strongest weapons the queen has, Pluto sees tears in her eyes as she looks at both Luna and Artemis. "I shall send them to a future far ahead so they can live a lovely life. Serenity can be a normal girl. Thus, shall evil ever arise, Luna and Artemis? I will need you both to wake them so they can defend Earth."
Luna and Artemis both nods, tears streaming down their face as the queen raises her hand and shouts "Moon Crystal Power". All those on the Moon are gathered into bubbles and sent to Earth. The Queen watches weakly, "I shall see you again someday, my daughter". Queen Serenity takes her last breath as she closes her eyes. The wand slipping out of her hand.
As the wand hits the ground, Luna and Artemis are placed into a glass tomb and sent to Earth as well. Their memories erased of what has occured that day. Left with only the knowledge needed to help the scouts find their princess.
