Crosswinds dragged them into lands where the sky dimmed unnaturally, a perpetual dusk painted in swirling shades of gold and amber. Here, countless shards of light hung suspended midair, unmoving and even appearing eternal.
They pulsed faintly, resonating with the land below, where craters brimmed with still pools of liquefied radiance. Each pool reflected the stormy skies, their surfaces occasionally disturbed by ripples from unseen movements beneath due to bubbling, flaming holes.
Tia wanted to wake Davis up so he could see the beautiful scenery, which resembled a plethora of lights shining on them.
If Davis were awake, he would definitely recognize it since it was like a disco bar. However, it didn't have its neon or multicolored glow, making it much more mesmerizing when seen under the shades of gold and amber light.
