About 25,000 years in the future, humanity has spread across the stars, believing itself alone — until a chance encounter with the enigmatic Boehu changes everything. From them, humanity learns to harness the “tincture,” a mysterious fusion of advanced technology and consciousness that grants abilities once thought to be magic. But such power comes at a cost. After a devastating conflict, tinctures are deemed too dangerous for general use and are entrusted to an elite order known as the Orods, with their secrets safeguarded on the distant planet Iofen.
Over time, the Orods fracture into two opposing factions: the peaceful Pewan and the militant Hajaa, each divided by ideology and purpose. When the expansionist Yinoa Empire launches an invasion, the fractured order is forced into a desperate act to preserve what remains of Boehu knowledge — splitting the essence of the tincture into twelve fragments and scattering them across the galaxy.
Centuries later, the legacy of that decision endures. The story follows Akeron, a lone Orod burdened with a mission that could shape the fate of civilizations: to recover the scattered fragments before they fall into the wrong hands. As he journeys through a vast and fractured galaxy, Akeron must navigate ancient rivalries, hidden truths, and the lingering question of whether the power of the tincture is meant to save humanity — or destroy it.
