Although there were many oases, compared to the vast red land, they seemed insignificant, like scattered islands in a boundless ocean. This also signified that the northern region was immense, as many of the countless oases spanned thousands of li, some even tens of thousands of li.
Between Kunzhou and Anzhou lay an endless Great Gobi, a boundless expanse of red as far as the eye could see.
