Things didn't develop as one might have expected. In fact, over the past week, the progress in communication between the two sides remained at the point of the other party's utterance:

Afterwards, both people just went about their business.
Mr. Su Bai lay back down in his coffin to sleep. When he got up the next day and looked up at the Bronze Mirror, there was no one there; he didn't know whether the other person had gone into the coffin or wandered off somewhere.
Of course, it was imaginable that the places the other person could wander were probably limited.
Because although they had not communicated, Mr. Su Bai could more or less guess that on the other side of the Bronze Mirror was probably the Western Land of Enlightenment.
