Some bold individuals who refused to believe in bad luck attempted to leave the main road and squeeze through alleys toward the 9th District. Without exception, they either got stopped by police at the alley entrances or were pinned against the wall and searched by soldiers or riot police appearing like heavenly warriors, scaring them witless.
