"You shouldn't be alive, Bonnie." Reinhardt spoke softly, his voice gentle and magnetic, like a poet lost in a beautiful scene, whispering to himself about how breathtaking the view before him was.
Words spoken in such a voice gave everyone a spine-chilling feeling.
"You are such a beautiful and proud woman, there is no one in this world who deserves you!" Reinhardt murmured. "I once thought I would be that person, but..." His voice turned grim, "I am just a bastard, the product of a promiscuous woman and a drunken man!"
Fatty and Osullivan shivered simultaneously. They understood that proud as Reinhardt was, if he uttered such words in their presence, he absolutely wouldn't let them leave alive! Perhaps, in his eyes, they were already dead.
