Chapter 127 - Volume 1: Chapter 127: The Unyielding Anna

"...Claypot rice is the best in the world!"

Anna clutched her stomach with both hands, her face filled with the lingering glow of happiness.

"Sora, Sora~"

Anna's eyes sparkled as she looked over expectantly:

"Let's not eat ramen tomorrow. Let's keep eating Nanyue cuisine, okay?"

"There are still so many dishes on the menu we haven't tried."

"They'll definitely all be delicious!"

Sora drank the last sip of his oolong tea and said slowly:

"I heard the sound of crying."

"Eh?" The ahoge on top of Anna's head twitched, and she curiously looked around. "Who's crying? Why didn't I hear it?"

Sora's tone was faint:

"It's Anna's wallet crying."

"..."

The smile on Anna's face quietly vanished.

I forgot.

I only have so much pocket money. I have to buy snacks, and I have to go shopping with friends. It's not enough, completely not enough.

Having eaten and drank their fill, Sora and Anna got up to pay the bill.

As part of the grand opening celebration, the shop gave away a free soft-serve ice cream cone per person.

Anna had a super sweet mouth and didn't hold back her praise. The proprietress was so happy she gave 'Inmate Eight' two free ice cream cones directly.

"Ehehe~"

Holding two ice creams, Anna looked like a victorious female general. Holding her head high and puffing out her chest, she walked out of the shop with a face full of joy.

Only upon stepping outside did they realize the sky had already darkened.

Night had fallen.

The streetlights had turned on.

The shopping street was a tapestry of interwoven neon lights, brilliantly illuminated.

"Thank you for nature's gift. Free ice cream really is super delicious!"

Anna took a bite of ice cream, her eyes quickly curving into crescents. She happily raised her hands above her head and stretched expansively.

The next second.

Snap.

Sora clearly heard the sound of something snapping.

"What was that sound?"

Sora subconsciously looked at Anna.

"..."

He saw the smile on Anna's face rapidly disappear. She then frantically covered her chest, her face completely flushed red, and squatted down.

I stretched too much and my bra strap snapped, ahhhhh!

"Anna, did you just...?"

Sora asked curiously.

"Girl stuff, Sora don't ask so many questions!"

Anna, her pretty face flushed crimson, crouched on the ground. Looking at the two ice cream cones in her hands, she took a big ah-woo bite.

Sora reminded her from the side:

"Don't eat so fast, be careful or you'll get a stomachache."

"Stomachache?"

"Impossible."

"It won't hurt a bit."

Anna crouched on the ground, taking a bite from the left and a bite from the right, her voice muffled:

"Sora, don't underestimate my stomach of steel."

Anna scarfed down the two ice cream cones in a flash, then covered her chest and stood up, her voice shy:

"There's an alley up ahead, Sora, come in with me."

Sora nodded, already guessing what had happened:

"Let's go."

The two walked into the alley. Anna covered her chest, her pretty face flushed crimson:

"Sora, turn around."

"..."

Sora didn't speak, silently turning his back.

Rustling sounds echoed behind him.

Before long, the girl's shy voice rang out in the alley:

"Going home, going home, let's hurry up and go home."

Sora turned his head and saw Anna holding her schoolbag in front of her chest. He quickly understood. 'Inmate Eight' didn't have a spare bra, so she planned to endure it like this until she got home.

The two walked out of the alley, preparing to head to the train station.

But after walking for a short while, Anna's pace suddenly became slower and slower.

"What's wrong?"

Sora raised an eyebrow and looked at Anna.

Anna covered her chest with one hand and held her stomach with the other. Her pretty face was pale, looking over pitifully:

"M-My stomach hurts a bit..."

"Need the restroom?"

"It's not that kind of pain... It's an indescribable sharp pain..."

"It's probably related to those two ice creams." Sora pondered. "I told you not to eat so fast."

"It's never hurt before..." Anna furrowed her delicate eyebrows, lightly biting her lower lip, her face pale.

"My stomach is hurting more and more. Sora, what do we do now?"

Sora exhaled softly, decisively crouching down halfway, his voice steady:

"Hop on, I'll carry you to a clinic."

"Thank you, Sora."

Anna hurriedly reached out her arms, wrapping them around Sora's neck from behind.

The next second.

"Mmm~"

The girl's trembling, alluring soft hum abruptly rang out.

(Oh no, oh no, oh no!)

(I just took my bra out!)

(Sora... definitely noticed, right?)

Sora naturally felt the soft pressure against his back. His body stiffened slightly, and without turning his head, he said:

"Should I put you down?"

"N-No!" Anna's pretty face was burning hot, her voice shy, pitifully urging him.

"My stomach hurts so much. Sora, hurry up and carry me to the clinic."

"Phew..."

Sora took a deep breath, trying hard to keep his mind clear and prevent his thoughts from sliding down a slippery slope:

"I remember passing by a small clinic next to the train station on the way here... Let's go."

The two walked forward in silence.

The evening breeze blew gently.

Smelling Sora's scent, Anna suddenly realized something:

"Eh, wait... Does this count as fulfilling my wish to have Sora carry me for a walk?"

"I guess it does?"

Anna's mood was complex.

It was confirmed.

The Losing Heroine Diary could indeed make wishes come true.

It's just that the way it fulfills them seems very terrible...

"My stomach suddenly hurting so much, could it be that I'm sick?"

"I only wanted Sora to carry me. Please let the pain go away quickly!"

Perhaps her prayers worked, for Anna soon felt the pain in her stomach rapidly diminishing.

"Eh, it doesn't hurt anymore?"

In less than a minute, Anna blinked in surprise.

"I don't feel a thing anymore..."

Anna quickly figured it out:

"Because the wish has been fulfilled, the pain is no longer necessary?"

"I knew it. Just two puny ice cream cones, how could they possibly give me a stomachache."

"I'm not some delicate queen!"

"..."

Anna's gaze shifted, looking at Sora's profile. Her heartbeat quietly accelerated, and she called out softly:

"Sora..."

"What's wrong?" Sora looked over with concern.

"Does your stomach hurt more?"

"It seems a bit better..." Anna acted spoiled in a small voice, "Walk a bit slower, Sora. Don't walk so fast."

"Then I'll slow down."

Hearing this, Sora slowed his pace.

"Ehehe~"

Anna let out a smug light chuckle, hugging Sora's neck tightly. Now that her stomach didn't hurt, she was in the mood to look around again.

The sky had turned completely dark.

The vast twilight.

The streetlights had come on.

Both sides of the shopping street were filled with neon signs, the number of pedestrians on the street quietly increasing, and the tempting aromas of various cuisines wafted in the evening breeze.

More importantly, she had just eaten a super delicious feast, and now she was resting on the back of the boy she liked...

Anna suddenly wanted to pray to the unseen gods, wishing that time could stop at this moment forever.

Unfortunately, it wasn't long before Sora still reached the end of the shopping street.

Ahead was a long flight of upward stairs. Arriving at the stairs, Sora felt Anna had slipped down a bit, so he exhaled softly and lifted the hands supporting 'Inmate Eight's' thighs upwards.

"Mmm~ Nn!"

The girl's trembling and panicked, shy yet sweet hum sounded once more, seemingly adding a touch of pink to the air.
