Scarlet immediately put her mouth on the girl's mouth after she made the whole guild look at her after screaming like this.
That girl was the guild receptionist, a simple looking girl, wearing glasses,with mid-length brown hair, styled in a side ponytail falling on her left shoulder,with a black hair tie.
She was standing on the other side of the reception desk while having a few papers scattered on it, the ruckus she made grabbed the attention of every person inside the building, however the people quickly looked away minding their own business.
Scarlet:(didn't I just tell you that we need to keep this between us?*sigh*)
The receptionist:( *mmmf* *mpf* *mfm*) she wastrying to speak while Scarlet was still shutting her mouth using her hand.
Scarlet:( okay okay I will remove my hand, just try to stay calm)
The receptionist nodded twice, Scarlet then removed her hand.
The receptionist:(sorry sorry, it's just what you said was shocking and amazing too)
Scarlet sighed before talking:(just keep this between us,no need to mention anything about Daichi, you can just write the report about the sudden increase in the monster numbers in the forest, I'm sure that it's fine right,Laura?)
Laura:(of course, it won't be a problem, we can warn the guild about the danger while keeping the troubles away from your saviour like this)
Scarlet:(yeah that's better, also that way we can get a lot of money hehehe)
Just thinking about the money made Scarlet laughs mischievously.
Laura giggled a little:(I see that you are still the same)
Scarlet:(money can do wonders, the more I have the better I can live, you too need to think about money like me)
Laura:(hehe, I care more about the stories of the adventures)
Laura put her head on her hands and looked above as if she was daydreaming (from what you said, that guy Daichi sounds really strong, I wonder what kind of things that he experienced to become like this)
Scarlet:(well...he has probably travelled around the world, even without knowing his full power but obviously it's not something you can achieve by staying in one place)
Laura:(that also reminds me of miss Durandal, she is so amazing too, being the commander of knights in the kingdom and an S-rank adventurer she saw a lot of things)
Laura titled her head a little and continued:(do you think Daichi is as strong as her?)
Scarlet thought for a moment then:(it's hard to imagine someone as strong as Durandal, but it's not impossible that Daichi hasreachedherlevel , I haven't seen his full power but it's just a hunch... however their strengths are quite different, standing beside Durandal is comforting, it's like having the best guardian in the world, very strong but won't make you feel the pressure, on the other hand Daichi is like the abyss, getting close will make you fall, I don't mean that he is a bad person but he gives a chill to my spine)
Laura:(as always, your description sounds strange and fascinating at the same time, that's what I should expect from a witch, but I understood what you said about miss Durandal, whenever she comes I feel so safe just by being nearby her)
Scarlet stretched her arms and let out a slight moan then said:(anyway I will go now, I need to go quickly or those two idiots will eat everything, see you later)
Laura:(okay, i will continue my work too, take care)
Scarlet walked and waved to Laura who was waving as well.
Scarlet walked through the door to be welcomed by the tavern, the tavern is a part of the guild building, people can enter the the tavern to eat and drink as much as they want, and if they have business with the guild itself they can just go further in the building.
At one of the tables Bete and Ellios were sitting, the food on the table, Bete was eating however Ellios who is normally noisy is sitting there in silence, he is sitting there while opening the palm of his right hand as if he was trying to focus.
Scarlet:(what in hell is this idiot doing?)
Scarlet sit down with a puzzled look, Bete:(I don't even want to know so don't ask me)
Ellios:(I'm trying to use the magic like Daichi, I want create light like how he created water or fire)
Scarlet:(okay look here Mr.Idiot, trying in this stupid way will only make you look dumber than usual, though being a grown-up who can't use his own element is already dumb enough)
Ellios:(hey that's cruel, why can't you be nice, I'm trying here)
Scarlet grabbed a cup of juice and started to drink then said:(I don't care, just continue doing whatever you are doing)
Bete was just eating without participating because he wanted to stay away from the trouble.
Ellios returned to his pose with his palm opened and trying so hard, closing his eyes while trying to focus he felt like he is seeing something shiny, he felt relaxed seeing that shine the moment he did a small ball of light started to appear in his hand, Scarlet noticed that while drinking, but before she even low her juice cup the light scattered in every direction... unfortunately it hit the cup and broke it, making the rest of the juice fall on Scarlet's clothes, not just this but also it hit Vere's forehead.
Ellios on the other hand was happy:(ha!did you see this?I was close, I actually did it)
While he was jumping from joy scarlet and Bete exchanged looks before nodding.
Ellios suddenly felt his feet leave the ground and being lift in the air, Ellios:(eh?what?why am I being lift?)
Scarlet:( don't worry I won't lift you for too long, we are gonna make you sit on something nice now)
Scarlet smiled in a way that made Ellios shiver in fear, Bete stood and grabbed his lance, he put the lance in the floor, making its head pointing up.
Both Scarlet and Bete grabbed Ellios from both sides, Ellios:(please no,I apologise, I'm really sorry, please don't do this I beg you)
The ruckus made the tavern look at them, though no one interfere because that scene was a daily thing for this energetic party.
Scarlet &Bete:( let your ass burn in hell)
... one of this lovely party lost something important that day though.

In the old library the sound of the book being closed was clear because the place was really quiet.

After some Surfing through the books, Daichi grabbed some books and went to a table to sit there and read in silence.
