Solomon stepped through the iron gates. A massive creature occupied the center of the chamber. It stood ten feet tall, its green skin bulging with unnatural muscle. The mega goblin wielded a giant tree trunk studded with rusty iron spikes.
It roared, shaking the cavern walls, and charged.
Solomon kept Eden's Penance resting easily on his shoulder. He watched the creature swing the spiked trunk in a horizontal arc. He dropped into a crouch, letting the massive weapon pass completely overhead.
He pushed off his back foot, lunging forward. He drove his right fist deep into the creature's exposed kneecap. A loud crack echoed in the chamber, and the mega goblin howled, dropping to one knee.
