Evening fell, and IU went to the bakery to sell pastries. But before she started working, Jungkook stopped her and said firmly:
"You'll pay for the lock."
IU nodded, "Okay."
But she was exhausted beyond description, as if fatigue was draining every bit of energy from her.
At the bakery, her condition wasn't any better; she kept stumbling during work, barely able to keep her balance. Time passed slowly until it got late and the clock reached eleven at night.
She suddenly remembered Jungkook's words, so she quickly closed the bakery and headed to the apartment. Jungkook was waiting there, as if he had been anticipating her return.
He said coldly:
"The lock costs 500 won."
She hesitated for a moment, then said in a tired voice:
"Okay... can I pay 250 won now and bring the rest tomorrow?"
Jungkook looked at her seriously and said:
"You have 24 hours. If you don't pay, I'll remove the lock."
Despite her worry, she felt a bit relieved and said:
