Vegeta snapped out of his daze, staring at Trunks for a long moment as his brows slowly furrowed.
"So you're the Super Saiyan. Good. Once I kill you, I'll become the greatest being in the history of the Frost Demon clan, unmatched past or future!"
Cooler slowly walked toward Trunks as he transformed into his strongest state—the Metal Form.
In this form, his Power level reached an astonishing 7 billion.
"It looks like I'll have to step in..." Zeru's his gaze sharpened. He had already observed everyone's Power levels. There was no difference from the original timeline. Clearly, the earlier butterfly effects had stopped, and without his continued interference, things had gradually returned to their original path.
Cooler stood at 7 billion, while Goku was only at 800 million. With nearly a tenfold gap, there was no way Goku could win.
"This guy is insanely strong!" Trunks stared at Cooler approaching him, his expression growing serious.

"Goku!" Zeru called.
"I'm here, Zeru!" Goku stepped forward.
"He's a Saiyan from the future—Vegeta's son. You can ask him everything once he wakes up."
With that, Zeru placed two fingers on his forehead and vanished again.

At the same moment Zeru appeared in West City, another figure materialized—Whis, holding his angel staff.
"Oh? What a coincidence."
They both spoke at the same time.
"Little one, you haven't told me your name yet," Whis said with a smile.
"My name is Zeru," he replied.
"I came to Earth this time to discuss something with you."
"What is it?" Zeru frowned slightly. Could it be that Vados had sent Whis after him?
"You know who I am, so you must also know Lord Beerus, correct?"
"I do. But what does that have to do with me?"
"Did you know that beneath a God of Destruction, there exists something called a God of Destruction candidate?"
"A candidate?" Zeru paused. He hadn't heard of such a title before, but then a thought struck him—Toppo.
Wasn't Toppo essentially a God of Destruction candidate?
Realizing this, Zeru's expression turned slightly strange. "Don't tell me... you want me to become Universe 7's God of Destruction candidate?"

"Don't reject it so quickly," Whis said with a smile. "Come with me to the God of Destruction's realm. I'll have Lord Beerus demonstrate the power of destruction. You might change your mind."
"Beerus is awake?" Zeru asked in surprise.
"Just recently. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come to invite you personally."
Silence fell between them.

After a moment, Zeru's his gaze sharpened, and a faint smile appeared on his lips.
"There's no need to demonstrate the power of destruction. But I would like to meet Beerus."
He looked at Whis seriously. "If possible, have him fight me at equal strength. After that, I'll seriously consider whether to join your side as Universe 7's God of Destruction candidate."
Whis blinked in surprise.
Inside, Zeru smiled.
The sound just now had come from the system.
This time, it wasn't the selection system.
It was the mission system.
And the task was simple: defeat Beerus at equal strength.
The reward?
The legendary Super Saiyan bloodline.
