It was like any other day in Seoul, South Korea, there was a beautiful sun and a warm breeze of springtime was flowing through the air just stirring happiness and joy to everyone's heart. Except maybe one man who was irritated and fed up with what he has brought upon himself.
Mr. Cha Eunwoo has always been a precarious and respected man when it comes to his business. People look up to him especially for being such a generous young man.
He's never had any private scandals to taint that image but now it's a very different story. As he looked at the documents he sighed heavily not knowing what to do with 5 death certificates from former boys from his orphanage all the age of 17 and about to turn 18.
He never wanted to keep secrets or could he have ever imagined the day he decided to adopt two boys his life would turn around.
He loved those boys like he was his real father at the age of 25 he decided to give two brothers a change of life since it had only been cruel to them however something inside them was corrupted. Eunwoo tried to give them everything however when they reached into their teens some bad habits started getting born.
Yeong- Su and Ye-Joon Kim got adopted by Eunwoo when they were fifteen they had already been in the orphanage for three years. After studying them he thought these two boys had lots of potential.
However a most disturbing trait stayed in the blood of those two boys of using violence or sadistic measures to get what they wanted.
It was like a desperation of dominance of being in control over the situation by being violent, so sometimes they roughed up everyone they could find and Eunwoo had to pay the victims so they could shut up and not expose him for defending his two violent stepsons.
He never thought of trying to show two stubborn kids on how to be kind and gentle, especially not with his young age but he felt alone and his kind heart moved him to help Yeong- Su and Ye-Joon Kim.
Then after investigating their background he could do nothing but sigh that he picked two devils to have the lucky opportunity to be under his wing as his stepsons.
So a father who has too much pride and doesn't want people talking about their children made a desperate move, which turned out to be the worst solution and now it's gotten very complicated maybe even more than he can handle.
How to manage something that's way out of his control and he can't trust anyone to help him or he'll maybe go to jail. Eunwoo rubbed his forehead looking for some kind of solution.
Yet he knew it was a matter of time that he was going to have to look for another replacement. Since he didn't want to go home just to confront his sons again it was much better staying at work and more precisely to find someone that most probably will go again to the death list.
However this time he had a plan, something that would give some authority over his maniac sons. Eunwoo thought this new toy he's going to personally adopt him, then train him mentally for what he might get into and tell him what's really his purpose.
Any child would love to be adopted by Cha Eunwoo, they love what they see on the outside, a hard working father who spoils his sons giving them everything they want and that's literally every damn thing.
Eunwoo grew up in an orphanage himself and always said he'd help kids like him out of misery and poverty. Well he achieved much more and was true to his word building 5 orphanages with the best care.
Once his adopted boys grew up they developed serious behavioral issues, ones that could get you in jail and they would rather not seek help or go into detail with anyone of how exactly his stepsons are misbehaving.
Eunwoo sighed opening his book of registered orphans that were 17 because it's when he can adopt them, after 18 they are emancipated and are old enough to make their own decisions, especially be free to live their life as they choose.
Specific qualifications had to be studied in every teenager especially for Eunwoo to choose wisely who is going to carry his last name. To supposedly be his new adopted stepson although the so-called "lucky one" will carry another more meaningful nickname later.
"Mhm...Nope....nope....not him either...." Eunwoo mumbled to himself as time passed different profiles, reading intensely as he inspected everyone until he heard his phone ringing non-stop.
"Hello?!"
"Hello stepfather! We are coming home with some guests! You don't mind do ya! Are You home!!"
"No I'm not home, sure do whatever you guys want! We'll talk tomorrow! I'm staying somewhere else! Bye!" Eunwoo answered hurriedly, talking fast just to hang up quickly. He just couldn't look at them in the face right now, not after the pictures he just saw it's just too disturbing to him.
It was a real hassle to pick someone who could fit the profile of what he's looking for and worst to destroy their lives with a chaotic prison with two sex addicted maniacs. It's not such an easy choice to put someone who's going to think this is the greatest thing, yet in reality it comes with a catch and a very high price, one that Eunwoo is going to pay for too.
After like hours one profile hit his curiosity. It was of a poor soul with an angelic appearance. It was very weird to him why such a pretty boy would be left in the orphanage for so many years. He revised his personal stats seeing all his family perished in a house fire, he was the only survivor.
"He looks so pretty and innocent! How did I get here doing this for those two it's just unspeakable!!" Eunwoo muttered to himself but his pride and his name is more important, this time he's going to make sure his two sons get in line.
Eunwoo called his secretary to get all the adoption papers filed so he could get acquainted with the boy named Park Jimin who he'll give his last name to especially describe who exactly is going to be his stepbrothers and what exactly is his purpose.
Most importantly explain the condition of why he's the lucky one to get adopted by the rich owner himself. It's the only solution he's come up with, to see if he can have some type of control over his stepsons scandalous behavior.
This way he's hoping he can give his sons a long lasting companion. One they won't be able to hurt or they'll have grave consequences. A red line must be drawn to put these two twisted boys in order because he has a last name to honor. Him being a noble young rich man, giving others a home and another opportunity in life.
Imagine if others knew he has depraved stepsons, who are sex addicted and leave their prey lifeless, in different parts of town because they have mental problems. They get drugged so bad they don't remember anything of what happened but they are sure of one thing, that they got raped and other things not worth mentioning.
Yeong- Su and Ye-Joon Kim have always had problems with the law, they have sick minds due to their childhood trauma. Then no one really knows how they survived their family's bloody massacre but as minors their place was in an orphanage just like Min-Jae.
Kids who have lost their families or have been abused are the ones Mr. Cha tries to prioritize in and it's why he picked out Yeong- Su and Ye-Joon Kim but now they have become a splitting headache for him.
"Lord, I hope to be forgiven for my sins and that this is the last one they'll ever get again! Next time I'll have to turn them to the police myself, doesn't matter how much I care for them" Eunwoo mumbled to himself feeling like a failure as a father and role model,yet he still had some hope and was determined as he put on his suit and fixed his tie.
Eunwoo is going to make sure those two stay in line with his secret weapon, one that not only his sons are going to fall hard for but he will too, so there's going to be massive fights over him, no control whatsoever is what's coming.
Mr. Cha knows nothing is accomplished without trying and in the end he's sacrificing his job and name to save his reputation. He's hoping his dirty deeds don't catch up to him.
