A POEM OF THE FUTURE
They say nobody knows tomorrow,
Yet where I stand now,
Is no longer shallow.
Fine men and money,
These I just admire.
But what lies ahead,
Now that is my desire.
A step for myself,
And a giant one for my parents.
The roads go right and left,
Uncertain I look back to avoid the rest.
But I see the old me point at a light,
So I turned again and saw a straight
path which was tight.
I wasn't sure at first,
So I looked back hoping it was a test,
Unable to speak,
She leaves with just a smile instead.
Then at last I faced the light,
For knowing the time has come,
I tie my shows and run.
For at the end of the day,
Weither simple or tough,
Nothing is impossible,
In the eyes of God.

So please all boarders going to Rome should kindly board the plane now. Take off is in ten minutes, thank you". "They've (Jaden stands up) got to b4 joking". Oh shit.(she sees that Jaden forgot his brief case beside his chair. Taking it, she rushs towards Jaden as he is about to board the plane) Jaden! (She shouts which draws the attention of Jaden thereby making him turn back towards her direction) You forgot this. (Already in the plane,Jaden realises that he had forgot his briefcase but luckily Alexia trews the briefcase fast enough for it to pass the door before itgot shut) Safe journey and goodluck". (Said Alexia as she watched the plane take off while she waved until the plane could no longer be seen in the sky. Afterwards she goes back into the airport. Meanwhile,Jaden on his chair let's out a sigh of relief) "What a life saver.(Putting on his head phones,he looks around until he falls asleep as a day goes by) Hmmm? (Waking up, he removes his head phones and looks at the date on his phone)A day has gone by? which means one more day to go. Alright then. Excuse (Jaden calls the flight attendant over) me miss". "How (With a cart, the flight attendant comes over to Jaden) may I help you sir?" "Can I get a bottle of water please?" "Here you (she brings out a bottle of water and hands it over to Jaden) go sir". "Thanks". "Sure. Call me if you need anything else". (The flight attendant leaves) "Okay...".(Jaden drinks some water then put his headphones back on and looks around for a while till he sleeps off again as another day goes by) "Ex-(A man trys to bring out his logadge but it hits Jadens head which wakes Jaden up) -cuse me and at the same time sorry". Stopping a cab, he enters) "Destination (The cab driver looks at Jaden from the windshield mirror) sir?" "The nearest hotel". "Okay". (The cab driver takes off while Jaden scrolls on his phone and talks to himself) "Alexia,Alexia, Alexia.(He sees her number) There she is.(Then he dials her number) Is she gonna pick up?" "He..llo?" "Ohh thank God she did?" "What?" "Umm, it's me Jaden". "Ohh, my heir.(Alexia laughs) How are you?" "I'm good and you?" "Same. You calling me now cause your plane just landed?" "Yeah, buh not to long ago. Anyways, I am just calling to check up on you and also I am calling to say thank you. You know I didn't get the chance to do that". "Oh so you remembered? Getting down, Jaden pays the cab driver before he leaves) "Sorry,(Jaden returns to his call with Alexia) where were we?" "I think you're a bit busy right now.Am I right?" "Actually. (Jaden replied) Sorry but can I call you later?" "Fone by me". "Thanks. (Jaden cuts the call and breathes out while touching his head) Ughhhhh. why do I have such a headache? No time for that now. I need to start my workimmediately. (He walks into the hotel, books a room. He goes and enters the room. Shutting the door, he removes his shirt and lies flat on the bed. Staring at the ceiling, he puts his right hand across his forehead and breathes out again) Why is my head banging so much? Maybe I should just rest. (He closes his eyes but he starts getting random flashs of the past) What's going on? (Seeing a bunch of people gathered as a crowd shouting, Jaden squeezes himself within the crowd till he gets to the front line of the crowd) Jesus Christ!. (He sees Jesus Christ on the cross along with the two thieves. Moved with compassion, Jaden turns to the crowd and trys to rebel against them but unable to speak or breathe, he suffercates. Holding his throat with his two hands , he falls to his knees as the light fades. Reopening, Jaden sees a woman making love to a man. Still unable to speak out, he talks to himself in his head) "What's this? (He looks around and sees a well designed female popes vestment and on the desk beside the bed and to his surprise he sees a popes cap resting on the table) So the rumors are true. Their was actually a female pope. (The woman being able to hear Jadens thoughts suddenly looks at him with a death stare which wakes him up instantly. Breathing heavily, Jaden sits up straight and looks around. Standing up, he touchs his neck continuesly as he goes to the bathroom. Washing his face with water repeatedly, he stops and stares at the mirror in fear) But why did she go against the Catholic religion? Why did she decide to become a pope when she knew she had a lover? and what the he'll just happened right now? (He pours more water on his face) If what I saw just now is the truth then it means that Raod was right all along.
