Lily sighed as she stood before the door of her father's room.
It was locked, but she could hear the faint sniffles behind it. She rolled her eyes in exasperation before gripping the doorknob tightly and pushing chakra to it to lift the lock.
She entered the room only to find her father sitting in the far corner of his office, wrapped in a thick wool blanket, emitting a forlorn and miserable aura while sobbing faintly with his back turned to her.
"Leave me be...my baby girl is gone! Stolen! By some unknown deviant and scoundrel! I am hurt!"
Lily released a suffering groan of embarrassment. She thanked the gods that the shadow elites were hiding in her shadows and that they were trained to ignore certain things.
"Dad, please, stop being dramatic. It's unbecoming, really."
