Chapter 36 - CHAPTER 36:The birth of darkness

At the very beginning, all Shadows were not born evil. They were not creatures of pure darkness or wickedness from birth. To understand the truth, you must first learn the secret behind their origin.

Listen carefully…

Before he became the first Shadow, Azharoth was once an ordinary human.

Long ago, before his birth, the world was known as Aetherion. In that era, the Celestial Gods ruled over the heavens and the mortal realm alike. Humans were treated as nothing more than slaves beneath their divine authority.

Light alone was worshipped as purity.

Darkness was seen as a curse.

But hidden deep within that darkness slept an ancient force… a living entity known as Umbraxis.

Before becoming Azharoth, he was called Azharel.

A simple warrior.

Yet despite his humble origins, Azharel was feared even by kings. He was a brilliant tactician who had never once tasted defeat in battle. More than power, he cared for the people of his land, and for their sake, he became the first man to raise his voice against the tyranny of the Celestial Empire.

He led a rebellion against the heavens themselves.

But the Celestials answered his courage with betrayal.

One day, the Celestial Gods invited him for peace talks. They spoke of negotiation and unity.

It was all a trap.

While Azharel was away, his city was burned to ashes.

His family was slaughtered.

His people were dragged away in chains and turned into slaves.

Broken and consumed by despair, Azharel wandered endlessly without purpose. Step after step, he walked alone through ruined lands until fate finally led him to a forbidden abyss.

There, he fell into the valley known as The Hollow Abyss.

For thousands of years, Umbraxis had slumbered within that endless darkness.

And in the depths of the abyss, the ancient entity spoke.

"Light abandoned you…

Will you embrace the shadow?"

Azharel accepted.

At that very moment, everything changed.

Umbraxis entered his body like living darkness itself. His eyes turned into silver shadows, and his heart became filled with eternal night. The shadows around him awakened as though they had found their true king.

In that single moment…

Azharel died.

And Azharoth, the First Shadow, was born.

The first time Azharoth unleashed his power, the sun itself turned black.

The skies became blood red.

Darkness spread across the entire world.

That day would forever be remembered as the First Eclipse.

And from that moment onward, Azharoth earned the title:

The First Eclipse.

His powers were beyond imagination.

Shadow Dominion — the ability to drown an entire battlefield in absolute darkness.

Soul Chains — chains forged from shadow that could bind even the souls of his enemies.

Eclipse Flame — black fire capable of burning light itself.

Shadow Beast Summoning — the power to summon gigantic monsters born from darkness.

Alone, Azharoth fought against:

10,000 Celestial Soldiers

7 Holy Dragons

3 Light Kings

When the war finally ended, an entire kingdom had been transformed into shadow.

Within the Abyss, Azharoth created a living weapon known as Nightfang — a monstrous entity capable of devouring life and turning it into darkness itself.

As more shadows united beneath his command, the empire of Noxareth was born.

Azharoth became the first ruler to sit upon the Throne of Shadows.

His thirteen generals were feared across all realms. They were known as the Eclipse Lords — immortal warriors, each possessing power equal to an entire kingdom.

Yet despite all his strength, Azharoth did not fear death.

There was only one thing that terrified him.

A prophecy.

"The king born from the shadow

shall one day be consumed by it."

The final war between Azharoth and the Celestial Gods shook existence itself.

The heavens shattered.

Dimensions collapsed.

Countless gods perished.

And at the very end of the battle…

Azharoth suddenly vanished.

No one knows what truly happened to him.

Did he die?

Was he sealed away?

Or is he still waiting somewhere within the Shadow Realm?

Even now, the answer remains unknown.

But the final legend of the Shadow Kings still echoes through history:

"When the First Eclipse rises again…

the heavens shall kneel."
