"Lexi?"
She heard Kol say. Her eyes beginning to adjust to the bright lighting. When her eyes adjusted she saw a shirtless Kol walking towards her.
"What are you doing up, Darling?" he said whilst closing the door behind Lexi.
"I couldn't sleep" Lexi mumbled, "What are you doing up?"
"I'm a vampire, we don't need to sleep" Kol said whilst leading Lexi to his bed.
"Doesn't mean you can't sleep to kill the time." Lexi said, sitting on his bed, looking up at him. She then noticed how he wasn't wearing a shirt.
But damn did he look not wearing a shirt.
Kol chuckled at her tone before noticing where her eyes were focussed. "My eyes are up here, Darling" Kol said snapping his mate out if her daze despite her not moving her eyes.
"Well then it's a good thing I wasn't looking for your eyes" Lexi said, finally taking her eyes off his chest.
When their eyes met again Kol smiled at her antics. Lexi then saw his eyes begin to stare at part of her, his smile dropping. Lexi looked to see what could have upset Kol so quickly. She then looked down and saw how her shirt had risen slightly when she sat down, revealing Klaus' soul mark.
"Do you want to do it?" Lexi questioned hoping it would change his mood. Kol's eyes lit up as they reconnected with Lexi's.
"Activate the bond?" Kol questioned, his inner animal overcome with excitement.
Lexi chuckled at how quickly his mood changed at her offer. "Yes" she teased, "Would you like to activate the bond now?"
"Yes" Kol said vamp speeding them so that he was leaning against the headboard of his bed and she was leaning her back against his chest. She was now sitting on his lap with her head tilted slightly.
Kol then began to nose and kiss her neck, enjoying the soft moans and whimpers his mate was producing. His inner animal was overwhelmed with anticipation. After a moment he then sank his fangs into her neck. Her sweet blood filling his mouth.
Lexi gasped slightly at the sharp sensation. Kol wrapped his arms around her waist tightly. He moaned into her neck, relishing her taste and the euphoria it was bringing his inner animal. After another moment, he pulled away. He then bit his wrist and hovered it in front of Lexi. She then brought it up to her mouth and began to drink.
When her neck healed, Kol began to kiss her neck and throat as she drank. When she pulled away. She slid to the side, off his lap. As she was about to say something the same burning sensation occurred. This this time it was present on the side of her chest, the same side as Klaus' mark. It was a burning under the the base of her bra.
When she moved her hand to apply pressure, Kol said, "Well that's quite a compromising location." Lexi quickly shot him a 'shut the fuck up' look and he held his hands up in defence. She then lifted her shirt and moved her bra slightly to reveal a rose tattoo which ran along the side of her chest.
Kol leaned over her to see the mark, his inner animal craving more as he ran his fingers over it. When their eyes met again, they realised how close their faces were as a result of their current positioning. Lexi licked up lips in anticipation, attracting Kol's eyes. With both of them glancing at each other's lips, Lexi decided to go for it. Pressing her lips to his. Fluttering her eyes closed as Kol's were fully closed in pleasure.
Kol, not wanting to make his mate uncomfortable or push past any boundaries, let her take control of their kiss despite his inner animal's craving. Their lips glided together softly. After a moment, Lexi pulled away. Her tiredness taking advantage of her. Kol understood quickly and moved her under the blankets. He then pulled her towards him lightly so that she was laying on his chest.
"Goodnight, Kol" Lexi mumbled into his chest, too tired to fully process what had just happened.
"Goodnight, Darling" Kol said pressing a kiss to his mate's forehead. He and his inner animal extremely satisfied by the event the day had just brought.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?" Rebekah began shouting upon entering Kol's room. After not hearing any movement or even a heartbeat from Lexi's room Rebekah entered to find it empty. Upon finding this she checked the entire house and could not find her mate. When she was about to ask her brothers if they had seen her she noticed that Kol wasn't out of his room yet. Normally, Kol was the first one awake... Since he never went to sleep. Upon this realisation Rebekah decided to check his room and walked in on her mate being spooned by her brother.
At some point in time after they had both fallen asleep (yes Kol too), Lexi rolled onto her side. Kol subconsciously wanting to be close to her, began spooning her, his head nuzzled into her neck and his hands tight around her waist.
After hearing Rebekah shouting, all of the siblings then made their way to the source of the noise, Kol's room.
"Leave" Kol hissed at his siblings, bearing his fangs. After activating the bond, Kol had become even more territorial and possessive of his mate and his siblings intruding on them was only aggravating him.
Klaus, having also activated the bond, was feeling the same territorial claim. As his vampire face showed, he growled at Kol: "Get off of her." Kol only growled back, irritating Klaus more.
Elijah stepped in between them, "Control yourself" he hissed. Elijah's inner animal was slightly hurt by seeing his brother and mate together but Elijah prided himself on his nobility so he suppressed the feelings.
"You're telling me this doesn't bother you in the slightest, brother" Finn said gesturing to Lexi, who was sleeping and Kol, who was still shirtless.
"Of course it bothers him. He's just too proud admit it in front of all of us." Rebekah said.
"There is no way that you all have supernatural hearing and this is the quietest you could have possibly spoken." Lexi said opening her eyes to stare at the wall in front of her, not wanting to move because of her tired state.
"We are sorry for waking you, Angel" Finn said.
Klaus faked a cough, "Suck up" he said before faking another cough.
You have got to be kidding me
Lexi thought as she went to roll over, away from her mates. As Lexi tried to move she felt Kol grip her hips and waist firmly, stopping her from rolling over. As she wriggled under his hands, Kol growled loudly in her ear which caused her to pause her movement.
"Don't fucking growl at me." Lexi snapped, Kol stopped growling instantly and removed his hands.
"I am sorry, Darling" Kol said, trying to hide the pain his animal was feeling at his mate's rejection.
Lexi rolled her eyes before turning to her other mates. "Leave" she said bluntly.
"Bu-"
"Love-"
"N-"
"Pleas-"
"Nope" she snapped, all of her mate's seeming to obey her every order. "I will be downstairs in a moment, where you will all be waiting for me and then we will have a civilised conversation." she said, "Until then leave and close the door on your way out." With a few huffs and glares Rebekah, Klaus, Elijah and Finn left the room.
"Thank you, Darling" Kol said.
"Calm down I only let you stay because you made me feel like I kicked a puppy when I told you to stop growling." Lexi said whilst rolling over to where Kol wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into a seating position on his lap, straddling him.
Kol hummed at her words he then nuzzled his nose into the crook of her neck. He then slid his hand up her shirt and then began tracing their soul mark.
"Okay, please your inner animal or whatever all you want now, but as soon as we are downstairs you are going to learn to share and not get all hissy and growly when your siblings do the exact same thing you're doing right now." Lexi said, trying to hide the pleasure Kol's touches on her soul mark were bringing.
Kol hummed in agreement, his inner animal extremely pleased that his mate sent his siblings away and was letting him touch her. Kol then pulled away, made eye contact with Lexi and then pressed his lips to hers. Now that they had had their first kiss and he knew Lexi was comfortable with him he was beginning to take control. After a moment Lexi pulled away. Causing Kol to pout.
"Time to go see your siblings" she said. This caused Kol to pout more, a whine escaping his lips. "Oi, let's go. We just talked about this. But put a shirt on first" Lexi said gesturing to his current clothing status, "I love it but your siblings won't."
A smile broke out on Kol's face...
She likes him shirtless.
