"Do these tunnels ever end..?"
We had been running - or rather, I had been running - for quite a long time now, and even with that magical pill that Valentina gave me to get me into an excellent form for this particular reason, it was still just... abymsal.
Spending so much time running in a seemingly endless network of tunnels that never wanted to actually go anywhere was most definitely not something I was able to be prepared for, and to no one's surprise I was absurdly bored and my patience was thinning considerably.
Plus I was tired, both physically and emotionally since this entire time had been spent in relative quiet, smelling nothing but the stale air around us - and doing my hardest to not lean down to just sniff Valentina's neck as a way to 'reset' myself - and doing the same thing constantly.
