"You couldn't sleep."
The blue eyed woman gave me a somewhat disdainful look as she repeated that, and although a part of me wanted to tell her off for being such an irritating prick, I kept my temper in check and nodded slowly.
"No matter what I tried I couldn't get to sleep, so here I am."
"Wasting energy."
Her immediate response made me smile wryly as I shrugged, and after a moment I replied "Gettin' some last minute trainin' done. Really just clearin' my mind though...", which only made her lips twitch as she continued to stare at me.
For a few seconds she just stood there, eyes glued to me while her fingers gently brushed across the pommels of her blades, and that pressure she exuded began to press down on me a tad bit harder, but it really wasn't that... intense.
She noticed immediately that I wasn't reacting the way she wanted me to when she applied that pressure, causing her lips to curl into an ugly sneer that marred her otherwise refined and pretty face.
