Gently removing her sword from my neck, Angelina gave me a smile and took a step back as she gestured for me to go again, just like we had been doing for the last hour; at first - mainly the first twenty or so times - it had been rather disheartening to 'lose' these spars within the first two moves, but seeing how much more she had to do to handle the second move...
It was what kept me focused and honed, what made it possible for me to move forwards and improve every single day so that I could continue to get stronger and manage to make something for myself by myself.
That was really the crux of the matter too; I wanted to make this for myself with as much of my own... well, everything, that I possibly could, from my own efforts to my own successes, all of which were entirely mine.
