Xie kept a faint smile on his face. He watched the bamboo arrow fly toward him without closing his eyes. In an instant, he felt the fruit on his head get pierced by the arrow and drop to the ground.
The group of orcs stood in silence for a second, then suddenly cheered.
Xie looked at Euphoria, his narrow eyes bright with a hint of amusement.
The orcs cheered for a moment but stopped when they realized it might be inappropriate, looking back and forth between their evil king and Euphoria.
Euphoria then picked up another fruit, which was smaller than the first one—roughly the size of a duck egg.
She held the fruit, walked to Xie with a smile, and said, "I need you to stand still for a bit longer, Your Majesty." She placed the fruit on his head.
