The family sought refuge outdoors for roughly a fortnight until the seismic activity finally subsided and the severe weather broke.
With the elements cleared, Wayne repaired their damaged wooden cabin, allowing Euphoria to finally move back inside.
Throughout this period, Wayne had painstakingly gathered an abundance of valuable crystals, packing them securely inside Euphoria's backpack. He kept all of her personal belongings organized and bundled, remaining completely prepared for the unpredictable arrival of the blue sun.
Aside from overcast or rainy afternoons when the sky was thoroughly blocked, Wayne spent nearly every waking moment stationed outside, keeping a vigilant watch on the horizon.
Euphoria preferred lounging outdoors as well. Though the climate of the Void Forest was generally sweltering, the cool breeze blowing off the riverbank made the heat far more bearable.
