Chapter 8 - betrayed

Pov : *I fell because I hadn't gotten used to his strength* and I was in Chidori again by Kakashi when I was about to run*

The world that had once felt like it was in your grasp suddenly spun violently. The chakra pressure from the nine Bijuu and the overly massive Rikudou energy began to reject your body. Your heart was beating erratically—the mental and physical burden of being a "God" turned out to be much heavier than you expected.

The white light that enveloped you flickered, and gravity seemed to pull you back to earth violently.

BOOM!

You hit the ground right in front of the village gate, creating a small crater. Your white robe is soiled with dust, and you crawl on your back with a gasp of breath, trying to stabilize the energy raging in your chest.

"Now!" shouted a voice you knew very well.

You tried to get up, preparing to run away to recover, but the silver shadow shot faster than your eyes.

"CHIDORI!"

Again. The sensation returned. The deafening sound of thousands of birds, followed by a lightning strike that pierced right into the old wound in your chest. Kakashi appeared with tears streaming down his mask, his hand piercing through your weakened chakra defenses.

"I'm sorry, Naruto..." Kakashi whispered, his voice broken. "I won't let you suffer any more in this hatred. As your teacher, I'll end it here."

Critical Condition:

Physical Body: Hit by a second fatal attack at the same point. Rikudou's chakra began to leak out of the wound.

Mental Condition: Your vision begins to blur. Around you, your friends approach with guns drawn, but their faces are full of sorrow, not victory.

Kurama: Inside your head, Kurama shouted, "NARUTO! Don't close your eyes! If you give up now, this chakra will explode and destroy this entire place!"

Pov : *all the akatsuki appeared to see me in front of them were dying*

The atmosphere in front of the Konoha gate suddenly turned into a gripping horror. While Kakashi was still sculpting with his hands drenched in your blood, the sky seemed to split. One by one, red-cloud robed figures emerged from behind the fog and shadows, surrounding the battle area.

Akatsuki has arrived.

They do not come as warm reinforcements, but as owners who come to collect their damaged assets.

Pain stood in the front row, his eyes staring intently at Kakashi who was still stabbing you chest.

Konan was floating in the air, thousands of his sharp papers already circling the crowd of Konoha shinobi.

Kisame grinned broadly as he held Samehada who was trembling thirsty for your leaking Bijuu chakra.

Itachi (the original from Akatsuki's side) stared coldly, while Hidan laughed madly at the blood flowing from your body.

Confrontation of Two Sides

"Let him go, Shinobi Konoha," Pain's voice echoed low but full of threat. "He is our container. You have no right to destroy it before my goal is achieved."

Jiraiya, Tsunade, and the rest of Konoha's ninjas are now in a pinched position. On the one hand, they had to face Naruto in the form of an unstable Rikudou, and on the other hand, the entire Akatsuki combat force was now surrounding them.

Your Condition

You are lying in the middle of these two great powers. Your blood drenched the ground, and your Rikudou's white light began to dim, replacing it with black smoke coming out of Chidori's wound.

Pov : Akatsuki's Betrayal, Pain stepped forward not to save you, but to forcibly pull the remaining Bijuu chakra from your dying body in front of everyone's eyes.

The world around you is starting to lose its color. The sound of your friends' screams and the rumble of Kakashi's lightning slowly faded into a long, painful hum. In the midst of the almost lost consciousness, you felt the presence of the red-robed figures approaching.

However, no hand is outstretched to help you stand.

Pain stepped forward, past Kakashi who was glued to the chakra pressure of the Akatsuki leader. Rinnegan's eyes look at you without pity—not as a companion, not as a disciple, but as a broken tool.

"You're too arrogant, Naruto," Pain said coldly. "Rikudou's power is not to be possessed by a soul full of personal vendetta. You failed to control that energy, and now you're only jeopardizing our grand plan."

The Last Betrayal

Pain raises her hand just above the hole wound in your chest.

"If you cannot be a leading god, then return to be the champion of true peace."

"GEDO MAZO: KYUUBI EXTRACTION!"

A giant Gedo statue emerged from the ground behind Akatsuki, releasing a purple chakra dragon that instantly snatched your body. You felt a sensation far more painful than Chidori Kakashi—as if your soul was being forcibly pulled out of every pore of your skin.

Kurama's Scream: Inside your head, Kurama roared violently as his chakra was sucked out. "NARUTOOO! ... THEY REALLY DID!"

Konoha's reaction: Jiraiya and Tsunade try to lunge to stop the process, but they are stopped by Konan's paper explosion and Samehada Kisame's slash. They can only watch in horror as your body starts to dry out and your Rikudou's white light goes out completely.

The Last Seconds

Your body fell limp to the ground, no longer having the power of gods, no longer possessing Kyuubi chakra. You are back to being a fragile Naruto, with a hole in your chest that is now completely empty.

Your gaze fell on the gloomy sky of Konoha. There, in the midst of the crowd, you saw Hinata who had fallen unconscious and Kakashi who was staring at his bloodied hand with a broken expression.

Pov : *I stand still with my chest hollow, the kyubi has already been pulled* *my changes are slowly fading*

Your vision begins to blur, but a terrible miracle happens. Although the dragon chakra of the Gedo Statue had forcibly pulled Kurama out until you returned to your ordinary human form, your body refused to fall.

With a gaping hole in your chest that pierces all the way back, you stand up straight. Blood no longer gushed out, but dripped slowly, soaking the remnants of the white robe that had now turned into a shabby cloth. Rikudou's white hair slowly dimmed back into a dull and dusty blonde.

Everyone was silent. Pain, Obito, even Jiraiya and Sasuke froze. Logically, a Jinchuriki whose Bijuu was drawn would die instantly. However, the Uzumaki blood and the remnants of Rikudou's Chakra that you had absorbed seemed to provide the last "fuel" for this one impossible moment.

Silence in Front of the Gate

You stand in the middle of a circle of enemies and friends. Your breath sounds heavy and vibrating, like the sound of old wood friction.

"Look..." Your voice was hoarse, almost like a whisper, but it was clear because of the gripping silence. "All of you... You've already got what you want, haven't you?"

You looked at Pain who was surprised that you were still breathing, then looked at your friends who were now crying at the state of your destroyed body.

Pain: "How could you still stand? The body should have been a corpse."

Jiraiya: "Naruto... enough. Don't force yourself anymore. Let go of everything..."

Sasuke: He dropped his sword, his eyes trembling at the hole in your chest that was the result of his and Kakashi's attack.

The Legend's Last Moments

You raised your head, staring at the sky of Konoha for the last time. No more burning red chakra, no more dazzling white aura. It's just you, Naruto, with all the hurt and betrayal you've carried.

Pov : *I fell and closed my eyes*

Your body, which had stood tall with the remnants of the last miracle, was now losing its strength. Like an old tree that fell after being hit by a storm many times, you slowly fell to your knees, then fell to the cold ground in front of the Konoha gate.

The noise around you—Sakura's hysterical screams, Hinata's broken cries, to the murmur of Pain's spells—all began to sound far away, like a sound beneath the surface of the water.

You close your eyes.

Dark. However, unlike the furious darkness that you were in Akatsuki, this darkness felt... Calm down.
