Aries POV
The UNO game finally came to an end.
Somehow.
After countless arguments, accusations, and Yuri insisting that everyone was cheating.
"I am not cheating," Mayo said.
"You are," Yuri said.
"I am not."
"You are."
"Guys," Ci-N said. "The game is over."
Everyone groaned.
One by one, Section E started leaving.
"Bye, Aries!" Mayo said.
"Get well soon!" Ci-N said.
"Don't die," Yuri said.
I stared at him.
"Thanks."
"You're welcome," Yuri replied.
Soon only Percy remained.
He was eating snacks from Keifer's kitchen like he owned the mansion.
Then his phone rang.
Percy looked at the screen.
"Oh, Felix is calling."
"Then answer it," Keifer said.
Percy gasped dramatically.
"You don't appreciate me."
"No."
"You hurt my feelings."
"You don't have feelings."
Everyone laughed.
Percy pointed at us.
"I'll remember this betrayal."
Then he looked toward Jay, who was still sleeping peacefully.
"Aww, my baby sister is still sleeping."
"Go," I said.
"Fine."
A few minutes later Percy finally left.
The mansion became quiet.
Then my phone rang.
I looked at the screen.
Kuya Angelo.
I immediately answered.
"Hello, Kuya," I said.
"Aries," Angelo said.
His serious voice immediately caught my attention.
"What happened?" I asked.
Then he explained everything.
Tita Gemma was going to Lola's house.
There was important work regarding Fernandez Company.
And both of us would have to go to London.
I listened carefully.
Then Angelo said something unexpected.
"Let Jay stay at Keifer's mansion."
I blinked.
"You trust him?" I asked.
"Yes," Angelo said.
I smiled slightly.
"Good."
"What?" Angelo asked.
"Nothing."
After the call ended, I found Keifer in the kitchen.
"What happened?" Keifer asked.
I explained everything.
The company.
London.
Tita Gemma.
And Jay staying here.
For a second, Keifer looked shocked.
Then a smile appeared on his face.
A suspicious smile.
"Don't," I said.
"I'm not saying anything," Keifer replied.
"You're thinking it."
"I'm not."
"You are."
"Maybe a little."
I threw a napkin at him.
"Behave."
Keifer laughed.
"I'll take care of her."
For once, I completely believed him.
"I know you will," I said.
Keifer POV
A few hours later, the mansion had become completely quiet.
Aries had gone to rest.
The staff had finished cleaning.
Dinner was ready.
But one person still hadn't woken up.
Jay.
I looked toward the couch.
She was still sleeping.
"How are you still asleep?" I asked.
No answer.
I picked up a dinner tray and walked toward her.
Still asleep.
Unbelievable.
Carefully, I lifted her into my arms and carried her upstairs.
She stirred slightly but didn't wake up.
I gently placed her on the bed.
The moment her back touched the mattress, she winced.
I frowned.
Something wasn't right.
"Jay?" I asked.
She slowly opened her eyes.
Jay POV
The first thing I felt was pain.
My back hurt.
My legs hurt.
And my lower abdomen hurt the most.
"Oh no," I whispered.
Not now.
Please not now.
I slowly sat up.
Then I realized exactly what was happening.
Wonderful.
Just wonderful.
I buried my face in my hands.
"Jay?" Keifer asked.
I looked up.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine," I said.
Keifer raised an eyebrow.
"No, you're not."
"I'm okay."
Another cramp hit.
I immediately bent forward.
"Jay," Keifer said softly.
I didn't answer.
"Talk to me," he said.
I hesitated.
Then I looked away.
Keifer sat beside the bed.
"You can tell me are you on your periods jay ?," he said.
For a moment I stayed silent.
Then I nodded slightly.
Understanding immediately appeared on his face.
"Oh wait .my little cupcake"
I wanted to disappear.
"Jay," Keifer said gently. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about."
I looked down.
"It hurts," I admitted.
Keifer nodded.
"Okay."
That was it.
No teasing.
No awkwardness.
Just understanding.
"Wait here," he said.
A few minutes later, he returned carrying water, dark chocolate, a heating pad, a blanket, and other supplies.
I blinked.
"Where did you get all that?" I asked.
"The staff helped me," Keifer said.
"You didn't have to."
"I wanted to."
I stared at him.
Then another cramp hit.
"Ouch."
Keifer immediately looked worried.
"That bad?" he asked.
I nodded.
"A little."
"A little?" he repeated.
"Okay. A lot."
Keifer handed me some water and start rubbing my stomach gently to remove the pain and it helps more than any heating pad honestly .
His hand are warm and he said giving me hot water
"Drink."
"Bossy."
"Drink."
I laughed.
Then I drank.
"Good," he said.
I rolled my eyes.
"I hate periods."
"I know," Keifer said.
"It hurts."
"I know."
"It's unfair."
"I know."
I couldn't help laughing.
"Why do you keep saying that?"
"Because you're right."
That made me smile.
Keifer adjusted the blanket around me.
Then he handed me a piece of dark chocolate.
"Eat."
"I'm not hungry."
"Jay."
I sighed.
"Fine."
"Good choice."
Then he take out a massage oil start giving message .
First legs the hands then stomach and on my back and the unexpectedly he opened my messy bun and applied hair oil and comb my hairs from his hand and make my braids .
Then I asked from where did you get to know how to do braids
He replied ruffling my hair My mother teach me when she was pregnant with kerien i used to applied her hair oil and massage her head and makes her braids .
Then i Kissed his both cheeks and his forhead and said you are really very good son and very good hubby .
Then i saw his ears red and I said "Are you blushing is really Mark Keifer Watson is blushing "?
Then he said what did you call me repeat and then i said hubby and then i realized ohh shit jay what did you do ?? But seeing him this much blush it's okay
For the rest of the night , he stayed beside me.
Talking.
Making stupid jokes.
Keeping me distracted.
And somehow, little by little, things felt easier.
Not because the pain disappeared.
But because I wasn't dealing with it alone.
And sometimes that made all the difference.
I laid down on his chest and his arm wrap around my waist tightly and protectivelt
