Knowledge Orbs existed in nearly every Tamer Guild throughout the kingdom. Their purpose was simple, to detect the mana within a person's body and classify them according to seven different ranks.
These seven ranks would then determine the official Tamer Rank someone received.
Starting from Iron, Steel, Mithril, Orihalcum, Adamantite, Aetherium and finally Eclipse.
Back then, Oliver had naturally failed the Knowledge Orb evaluation and started at Iron Rank, the very lowest rank possible. Honestly, he had already expected that outcome.
After all, he had previously failed the taming ritual itself. It truly felt as though the world refused to show him even the slightest mercy.
