After finishing their meals, Oliver and Aria continued chatting for nearly two more hours. Eventually, Aria called for the bill.
"It is only fifty-five gold coins, Lady Aria." the waiter said politely.
'ONLY?!' Oliver screamed inwardly. That amount was enough for an ordinary commoner family to live comfortably for quite some time.
Meanwhile, Aria calmly pulled out a black card from her purse and handed it to the waiter.
'Wait, is that a credit card? Don't tell me this world actually has something like that too?' Oliver thought in surprise.
The waiter then brought out a small magical device. A tiny magic array immediately appeared above it before scanning the black card. A few moments later, the waiter respectfully returned the card to Aria.
'Right, of course they use magic for it.' Oliver thought.
Soon afterward, the two of them left the restaurant and slowly walked back toward the inn together. After 15 minutes, they finally arrived.
