SHAKING HER HEAD AT PAUL'S WORDS, Catherine was quickly starting to learn that when it came to these men, or at least their choice of date etiquette was to keep her in the dark.
Not spilling an ounce of information on the details until they get to the location, which wasn't something Catherine minded even in the slightest.
She honestly like the giddy feeling of them taking her somewhere they'd chosen, somewhere they thought she'd like based on how they perceived her during this short period of time.
"Everything's a surprise with you guys." She remarked as she leaned closer into Paul's side, a bright grin on her lips as she could already feel herself growing excited.
Something the three wolf quickly noticed in the way her body seemingly trembled, bounding with energy and excitement beneath her skin.
"Don't act as if you don't like it, Bunny." Paul couldn't help but retort as he looked down at the woman standing against his side, using his right hand to pinch her nose.
The action causing Catherine to scrunch her nose up the moment he let go, which in turn caused her imprinters to chuckle and laugh.
Watching her do such a cute thing always filling them with a deep sense of amusement.
"Well I never said that." Catherine couldn't help t help but agree, giggling herself as she didn't mind being the reason for their amusement.
Something she was quickly growing accustomed to, since it seemed they all treated her as the center of their attention whenever they were all in the same place.
"Y'all heading out?" Paul asked as he turned his attention back onto his fellow pack mates, given he'd only at first thought they were just coming out to greet their imprint.
"Yeah, we need to go check on things at the lumbar yard, until the other's are off patrol," Sam nodded given he was a foreman and partial owner to Takwil Logging, which had been started by his father and Billy Black. "we should've traded places by the time you two are back."
"Be safe when you're out there." Catherine couldn't help but tell them, despite now knowing his large and strong they were in their wolf forms.
"Always," Sam replied with a confident grin, still enjoying the feeling of knowing she cared enough to want them safe. "there ain't much that can do us harm out there."
"That cold one?" Catherine couldn't help help but asked, remembering the conversation that had a week prior after her date with Sam.
"Haven't seen her in a few days," Jacob spoke out with shake of his head, however he knew not to just dismiss Catherine's words as she only worried about them. "but we'll keep that in mind."
With that Jacob stepped forward laying a soft kiss to Catherine's forehead, before Sam did the same and then turned his attention into his hot-headed pack member.
"Keep her close, Paul." Sam remarked motioning toward Paul, seemingly joking, however Paul knew just how serious his pack leader was.
They all had this innate need to protect their imprint, they would much rather take lives than allow for anything to happen to their Catherine.
"We won't be far, Bunny." Jacob spoke as he started walking backwards toward Sam's truck, the two deciding to ride together to the lumber yard.
The young quiletue's words a bit vague and suggestive, something Catherine noted, but didn't take into much account as she watched the two get in the truck.
The young bunny shifter waving brightly as they started to reverse, Sam honking the horn a few times before they pulled off, Catherine able to see them waving from inside the car.
Causing her to turn to Paul as they left her eye sight.
"Shall we?" Paul asked as he held out his hand for her, a smirk on his face as he knew he'd finally gotten his imprint alone and had all her attention on him.
"We shall." Catherine spoke with a giggle as she laid her hand into his, before letting out a loud squeal when Paul pulled her into his chest.
The squeak turning into laughs again as she looked up at him, used to Paul's playful attitude given his hinting toward the date for the last week.
WALKING THROUGH THE WOOD OF THE REZ, Catherine softly held Paul's right and followed his broad back as he held the branches out of the way for her.
The warm cascade of the day's golden hour seeping through the canopy and casting a dappled light across their path, which seemed like a fairytale.
Butterflies and flowers of all color seemed to be in their same direction of their path, one of which Catherine still didn't know the destination to.
The young woman only following Paul's occasional glance back as him being up to something, especially given that teasing half-smile he kept showing.
"Are we almost there?" She couldn't help but asked after Paul's third glance back, whilst she brushed a leaf from her curled hair.
Growing slightly impatient only do to the excitement dwelling within her, she felt like she was going to explode from how much she wanted to be there already.
"Impatient little doe," Paul couldn't help but murmur, he could practically feel her heartbeat thrumming through her finger tips against his hand. "we're almost there, promise."
With that Catherine could only take a few quicker steps growing closer to Paul's back and shortening the distance between them, even with their hands being held together.
Almost as if they would suddenly come to the place Paul was leading her to, which they did only six minutes later which didn't seem as long with Catherine's pace.
The trees finally opening up into a clearing, one of which the moment it caught Catherine's eyes caused her to lose her breath.
Seemingly tucked away on side of a sudden raised cliff about twenty feet high was a 10 foot hot spring, the pool a half circle before meeting the cliff wall.
Large dark grey and black moss covered stones sitting around the edge shimmering in the low light as a huge contrast against the pale blue water that was no where near see through.
Steam gently rising from the surface of the water as it danced in the sunset, a small waterfall falling into the water.
Yet on the grass that showed everywhere was a thick quilt laid out with a picnic basket and two glasses sitting on top of it.
"Paul," She couldn't help but whisper as she stepped forwards, Paul having moved out of her way in order to let her fully take in the beautiful view. "it's...wow."
Catherine couldn't help but breath out as she looked over the hot spring, she could practically feel the heat coming off of them with the steam.
She'd never expected to see such a beautiful view after moving to Forks Washington, but ever since she'd gotten with Jacob and the rest of the wolf pack.
She begun to see so many beautiful sides to not only Forks, but The Rez as well.
