Her eyes catching on the slightly pinker shade that sat amongst the skin surrounding her rump, the cause of which happened last night after she'd brought Jacob home.

Where it turned out that Billy hadn't returned home yet spending a bit more time at Harry Clearwater's house, leaving enough time for Jacob to enact on a previous promise.

Which he accomplished by turning her bottom red from the force of his large hand, the thought of which causing a blush to coat Catherine's cheeks and a giggle to leave her lips.

Although it wasn't long before she saw the red tinge on the lower part of her butt starting to return to its natural tanned chocolate; her healing factor coming into affect.

That being said the thought of what'd happened still laid on her mind, at least that was until the voice of her now not so familiar cousin drifted into her enhanced ears.

"Hey it's me again," She could hear Bella's voice softly through the two walls that separated them, causing Catherine's eyebrows to furrow in confusion.Β "I'm sorry about what I said at the movies."

The continuation of the partially hushed voice causing Catherine to turn toward her door, walking toward and out it as she knew exactly who Bella was attempted to converse with.

"I just wanted to hear your voice so no pressure." Bella continued to speak in desperation over the phone, hoping that the person she was reaching out for would find their way back to her.

Although as she spoke she failed to noticed Catherine quietly slipping into the doorway of her room, the young Bunny's eyes landing on Bella, who was looking out of her bedroom windows.

Obviously not hearing the softened footsteps of a bunny shifter, yet despite not hearing Catherine, Bella still promptly ended her phone call before turning around.

"What do you think you're doing?" Catherine asked as she crossed her arms, her eyes looking at Bella in contempt and irritation.

Her words causing Bella to suddenly spin around after jumping, not having noticed her enter the room or rather stand at her door frame.

"I just want to talk to him." Bella spoke nonchalantly as she crossed her own arms, not seemingly understanding why it was a big problem to try and get into contact with Jacob.

Despite being explicitly told by multiple people, Charlie, Catherine, and Billy, all of which told her that Jacob was sick.

However hearing Bella's words, Catherine's already irritated form only grew more apparent as she stepped further into the room.

"Excuse me." She spoke as she narrowed her eyebrows at Bella, not entirely understanding the words that were leaving her mouth, or at least why they were leaving her mouth.

Although, Bella only paid attention to the fact that Catherine was coming closer causing her further encapsulate herself within her arms as she hugged herself.

Putting on the apparently of a heartbroken person, longing to see the one that was being kept away.

"Billy won't even let me see him," She spoke seriously as if she and Jacob where some sort of Star-crossed lovers, whilst talking to Jacob's actual lover. "so why can't I just talk to him?"

Bella's words causing a look of disgust to come over Catherine's face, her lips scrunching as she stood up straighter seemingly in disbelief.

"Who do you think are you his forsakened woman,"Β She couldn't help but ask sarcastically as she looked on the display Bella put on, not entirely sure how she'd screwed up reality so fiercely in her head. "do you think we're keeping him from you?"

As she finished asking, Catherine felt as if a huge light bulb flashed off in her head as she had a sudden realization whilst staring at the blank look on Bella's face.

The young human's expression swiftly switching from intensely distraught to calm, shining a new dark light on the horrible factors that clearly showed through Bella's actions.

"This whole time I thought we were family,"Catherine continued talking, realizing she cousin wasnt going to answer her previous question. "that we were those same two little girls running around in the backyard staring at ladybugs and picking stupid flowers."

Catherine monologued as she contrasted the little girl she used to play with and the teen standing before her, the two nowhere near alike in anything other than appearance.

The one standing before her unwilling to considered the feeling of others anywhere near the height of her own.

"People grow up," Bella countered with little sentiment, long having let go of the little girl she used to be and unsure of why Catherine was so stuck on the younger versions of themselves. "it's the way it works."

And hearing Bella's words, Catherine seemed almost appalled the way her eyes widened and her breathing intensified as the words triggered her to no regard.

The thought that only she was holding onto the familial love they'd developed when they were children, however it was clear in Bella's actions that she'd long lost their connection.Β

"The way it works," Catherine nearly seemed insane as her emotions blurred from hurt, amused, and angry as she finally felt enough emotion to tell her truth. "you wanna know how I think you fucking work?"

As she asked, Catherine pointed directly at her cousin's being unwilling to let Bella go without gettingΒ her own point across.

"This is the same thing you did when Edward left,"Β Catherine concluded as she walked forward step by step, not stopping her movements until she was within arms length of her so called cousin. "you obsessed, and you cried, and you had people feeling sorry for, just like you're trying to now."

As she finished it was almost as if speaking it out loud led Catherine to a greater understanding of the girl standing in front of her, finally able to see through the patterns that surrounded Isabella Swan's personality.

"You manipulative bitch," Catherine cursed harshly as she stared into Bella's eyes, the teen having avoided eye contact but knew she could as she stood teetering nervously before a shorter Catherine. "I think I finally see you."

"What are you talking about?" Bella couldn't help but ask nervously, not understanding what Catherine was going on about as of course she could see her, they'd been standing face to face.

However it was in the literal sense of seeing her that Catherine was talking about, instead it was being able to see through Bella's previous bag of tricks.

"You're a spoiled insensitiveΒ mediocre brat," Catherine continue to insult and berate the teen before her, no longer biting her tongue because they were family. "I really....I really-really tried with you, no wonder your boyfriend left you, look at you."

As she finished she gave a motion over Bella's body, the teen flinching as she always been a bit insecure so a blatant pointing out of her physical state only made her visibly uncomfortable.

Nevertheless, Bella's comfort wasn't the most important thing in Catherine's mind at the moment.

"You have such a negative presence that surrounds you," She continued looking at Bella in disgust, spewing out the harshest words she knew, because she felt they were the truest. "like a blackhole willing to swallow up everything near you, you're worse than nothing."

She paused as she gave a final once over of Bella's body, the teen no longer unwilling to stare at the ground after having been berated so much by someone she'd been so close to at one point.

Yet as she heard Catherine pause, Bella turned back to look into her eye once again, no longe holding herself as she ran a hand through her slightly messy hair.

"You screw up everything around you." Catherine finished for good as she looked Bella in the eye, trying her best not to curse and shout for the sake of Charlie.

"And what you think your Ms. Perfect?" Bella bit back after a few seconds, not wanting to be the only one insulted during this little conversation.

That being said hearing Bella's words, Catherine could only raise an eyebrow not understanding when she claimed to be Ms. Perfect.

Yet as she folded her arms she had no problem staying quiet in order to figure out just what made it seem as if she did to Bella.

"Trampling around with that stupid smile on your face, like the whole world is supposed to be happy with you," Bella gave a quick honest opinion, speaking out a frustration she'd long kept bottled up from the girl in front of her. "you're not the only one that can see the other."

"You couldn't see me if I was under a fucking microscope." Catherine stated simply giving a pop of her lips as she finished speaking, emphasizing her last word before she gave her cousin a final look up and down.

Then turning toward the door she'd previously entered, having little to nothing else she wanted to say to the dull teen.

Nothing except:

"Stop calling him-" She attempted to comment as she finally made it back to the doorway, stopping for a moment as she laid her hand on the frame.

Although before she could finish speaking, Bella interrupted her.

"No." Bella spoke unwilling to let go of the only person she knew was obsessed with her, deep down inside at the very least.

However, her interruption did little stop Catherine from finishing her words as this would be the last thing she would ever do for Bella's benefit.

Or at least she thought.

"He changed his number anyways." Catherine finished speaking before exiting out of the room, no longer needing to be anywhere near Bella for the moment.

Instead going back to her room to finish getting ready for the day and her date with Paul Lahote.

STANDING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DINING ROOM, Catherine attempted to remain as far away from Bella as possible knowing her previous run in with the teen would only lead them into further arguments.

However they hadn't reached the point of exiting the room when the other entered, yet out of spite neither seemed to be in the mood to talk to the other.

Even as they both heard the sound of others entering whilst they stood on the exact opposite sides of the room, Charlie and Harry Clearwater entering with fishing gear.

"Okay, we should be back around 3:00pm." Charlie spoke as he sat down the bag he'd currently been holding, before he glanced at each girl on opposite sides of the room.

Quickly noticing the obvious tension as they had their backs to each other, something clearly having transpired during the time he'd been talking to Harry.

The man letting out a sigh as he noticed the two, Bella quickly glancing back toward the table in front of her holding their recently departed mail.

Catherine in the other hand rumbling around in an old junk drawer, although as she realized Charlie was looking at her she could only offer the man a soft partially saddened smile.

"Hey," Charlie spoke grabbing both girls's attention, Bella fully turning around and Catherine only partially as they both focused on Charlie. "look I don't have to go fishing."

The man attempted already having felt the tension in the air between the two of them, not wanting to leave them to grow angrier with each other.

"Yes you do." Harry spoke up from behind Charlie, causing the man to turn back toward him knowing he was trying to do something nice for his daughter and niece.

"Yeah you do." Bella spoke up as well, knowing her father would often go on these fishing trips and she didn't want to interrupt his already created schedule.

Plus she already had a plan to go out and do something for the day.
