Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: The Helicopter Malfunctions

At the same time, a hint of surprise appeared on Natasha's face.

To her, having a man who could fly and was immune to bullets was practically like a gift falling from the heavens.

"If I wanted to, I could smash the Earth to pieces with a single slap," Broly said with a smile.

"Yeah, right," Natasha scoffed, clearly not believing him. Although Broly had already shown incredible strength, destroying an entire planet with one blow still sounded completely unrealistic to her.

After all, no matter how powerful a person was, it shouldn't be possible to reach that level.

On the way back, Tony behaved much more honestly. He didn't dare look at Natasha anymore—and even if he did, he definitely wouldn't harbor any improper thoughts.

Broly was quite satisfied with Tony's behavior this time and didn't make things difficult for him.

However, compared to Tony's misery, someone else was even more troubled—the helicopter pilot.

Both of his companions were dead, and he was the only one left alive. If those above found out, he'd be finished.

Gritting his teeth, the pilot made a drastic decision.

After the helicopter entered the city, he steered it straight toward a gas station.

Either way, he was going to die. If the organization found out he had survived, his family would be in danger.

He might as well take these three down with him. Even if that monster didn't die, at least Tony would. And when the organization found out, they wouldn't mistreat his family.

However, just as the helicopter reached the airspace above the gas station, the pilot suddenly realized something was wrong.

It felt as if the helicopter had been seized by an invisible force—it could no longer move forward even an inch.

Confused, the pilot quickly checked the instruments, trying to figure out what had malfunctioned.

"Tony, you know how to fly a helicopter, right?" Broly asked.

"A little…" Tony replied. Being a genius, he had learned how to pilot one before.

"Then you take over."

Broly casually grabbed the pilot and threw him out of the helicopter.

Tony was completely stunned.

Why did this guy kill people so casually?

But he didn't dare resist. He quickly rushed forward and took control of the helicopter.

"He had a problem?" Natasha noticed something was off. She didn't think Broly would kill someone for no reason.

"You saw the gas station below, right? That guy was planning to crash us into it," Broly said with a light smile, explaining to her.

He had already sensed something wrong with the pilot and had been on guard the entire time.

If it were just Broly alone, he wouldn't have cared.

But the key was—he had a beautiful woman by his side.

Broly wouldn't allow her to be harmed in the slightest. He intended to protect and cherish her forever, just like his own wife.

Just now, he had simply used his own energy to control the helicopter, keeping it suspended in midair.

For Broly, something like this was ridiculously easy.

"A gas station?" Natasha looked down. The moment she saw it, her expression changed drastically.

Even Tony frowned when he saw the gas station below and quickly maneuvered the helicopter away from the area.
