Broly smiled faintly. At this point, he could only take things one step at a time.
Soon after, under Ginyu's lead, Broly was escorted toward the direction of that planet.
During the journey, Ginyu contacted Frieza.
"Lord Frieza, just as you predicted, Broly has already arrived on our planet. We've caught him red-handed," Ginyu reported with a grin.
"Excellent." Frieza's voice finally softened a little.
"Lord Frieza, shall I personally deliver this brat to you?" Ginyu asked again.
"No need. This little one is quite cunning. Keep a close eye on him—I'll head over right away," Frieza replied with a chuckle, clearly pleased with their actions.
Broly had naturally overheard the conversation between Ginyu and Frieza, and a trace of confusion arose in his heart.
Where exactly had things gone wrong?
He had actually walked straight into a trap, entering the Ginyu Force's planet himself. Just thinking about it made him feel utterly miserable.
After ending the call with Frieza, Ginyu looked at Broly again. Noticing his confusion, he smirked and explained:
"You must be wondering why we're here, right? No harm in telling you. After you left Planet No. 45, you just so happened to enter Lord Frieza's surveillance range. He predicted that you'd likely pass near our planet next, so he had me wait here for you to take the bait."
Broly frowned. This really was a case of man proposes, but fate disposes. Who would have thought Frieza had set up a surveillance system across this region of space?
Still, one thing gave Broly a bit of comfort—Ginyu and the others seemed fairly amicable toward him.
He just didn't know what Frieza's true intentions were in capturing him.
Broly knew very well that Frieza was no good person. He had to find a way to escape before Frieza arrived.
But how to break free while surrounded by the Ginyu Force… that was indeed a headache.
"Captain, what's that over there?"
Just as Broly was pondering his escape, he heard Jeice pointing toward the distant sky as he spoke to Ginyu.
Following the direction Jeice indicated, Broly looked over—wasn't that the black hole he had seen earlier?
It seemed to have moved much closer to the planet.
"Not good… that monster has appeared again!" Ginyu's expression changed drastically the moment he saw it.
"Captain, what is that thing?" Jeice asked, puzzled. "Isn't it just a black hole? Why call it a monster?"
"Forget explanations—evacuate this planet immediately!" Ginyu ordered coldly after a brief pause.
"Captain, isn't that a bit of an overreaction?" Burter said, confused. To warriors as powerful as them, a mere black hole shouldn't be anything to worry about.
As he spoke, Burter had already gathered a massive sphere of energy in his hand and hurled it toward the black hole.
"You idiot! That level of attack is nothing to that monster!" Ginyu shouted. "Aside from Lord Frieza, no one has been able to deal with it!"
