Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Shimotsuki Village

After finishing everything in Loguetown, Yuta didn't waste time.

He bought daily supplies.

Food for travel.

Basic necessities.

Then—

He purchased a Log Pose.

"…Shimotsuki Village."

He said quietly.

With everything ready—

He left the town once again.

He rose into the air.

And began traveling across the sea.

Just like before—

Flight.

Rest.

Eat.

Continue.

He didn't rush.

Six days passed like this.

The ocean stretched endlessly beneath him, but this time his direction was clear.

No confusion.

No hesitation.

Only movement.

On the sixth day—

Land appeared.

"…Shimotsuki Village."

Yuta descended slowly and landed inside a forest near the island.

"…Same as before."

He muttered.

"…No need to attract attention."

He moved quietly through the trees.

Then began heading toward the village.

After some time—

He reached it.

A calm place.

Peaceful.

Different from Loguetown.

Less noise.

Less tension.

More discipline.

Yuta walked slowly, observing everything.

Then—

He heard it.

Clang.

Clang.

Wood hitting wood.

Training.

He turned his head slightly.

"…There."

In an open area—

A young boy was training.

Short.

Green hair.

Holding swords.

Moving again and again.

Focused.

Relentless.

Yuta watched silently.

"…Zoro."

He said quietly.

Just seeing him like this—

Felt different.

Real.

Not a story anymore.

Then—

An idea came to him.

"…Let's see."

He wanted to experience it.

The thing he remembered.

That strange "ability."

The one that didn't make sense.

Yuta walked forward.

Zoro stopped briefly and looked at him.

"…What do you want?"

Yuta spoke calmly.

"…Do you know where Isshin Dojo is?"

Zoro frowned slightly.

"…What do you want there?"

"…I want to learn the way of the sword."

Zoro stared at him for a second.

Then—

"…Tch. Follow me."

He turned and started walking.

Yuta followed.

At first—

It seemed normal.

Just walking.

But then—

They turned.

Then turned again.

Then again.

Yuta said nothing.

But his space sensors were active the entire time.

Tracking everything.

Position.

Direction.

Movement.

And what he saw—

"…This…"

He remained silent.

They passed the same place.

Again.

And again.

Six times.

Same path.

Same turns.

Zoro walked confidently.

Like everything was correct.

Yuta watched quietly.

"…This is worse than I thought."

He said in his mind.

It wasn't normal.

It wasn't just bad direction.

It was something else entirely.

"…How does this even work…"

He couldn't explain it.

Even with space sensors—

It didn't make sense.

After a while—

A voice came from ahead.

"…Zoro."

A girl appeared.

Calm.

Focused.

"…Did you get lost again?"

Zoro immediately reacted.

"…I didn't get lost!"

"…I'm on the way!"

The girl sighed slightly.

Then her eyes shifted.

Toward Yuta.

"…Who are you?"

Yuta answered calmly.

"…My name is Yuta."

A pause.

"…I came to learn from Isshin Dojo."

She looked at him for a moment.

Then nodded.

"…Follow me."

She turned and began walking.

This time—

They arrived quickly.

No circles.

No confusion.

Yuta glanced once at Zoro.

"…So it only happens to him…"

He said quietly.

They arrived at the dojo.

Simple.

Clean.

Disciplined.

Yuta stepped inside.

Inside—

A man stood calmly.

White robe.

Gentle expression.

But the moment Yuta entered—

Something changed.

Koshiro.

His gaze sharpened slightly.

He could feel it.

Strength.

Not normal.

Not someone ordinary.

"…What do you want here?"

He asked calmly.

Yuta stepped forward.

"…I want to learn the way of the sword."

Koshiro watched him carefully.

"…Why here?"

Yuta didn't hesitate.

"…Because I know you are not weak."

A pause.

"…You have the strength of a great swordsman."

Silence.

The room became still.

Koshiro's expression changed slightly.

Not anger.

Not denial.

But surprise.

Because those words—

Were not something a normal person could say.

"…And not just some weak dojo."

Yuta added calmly.

Now—

Koshiro was truly surprised.

He looked at Yuta more seriously.

"…Then tell me…"

His voice became slightly firmer.

"…Why should I teach you?"

Yuta didn't answer immediately.

Instead—

He reached into his belongings.

And placed something on the ground.

Money.

A large amount.

"…Fifty million Beli."

He said simply.

The room froze.

Zoro widened his eyes slightly.

Kuina remained silent.

Koshiro—

Stopped completely.

For a full ten seconds—

No one spoke.

Fifty million.

Not a small number.

Not something normal.

Not something someone would casually place down.

Koshiro looked at the money.

Then at Yuta.

"…You…"

He paused.

"…You are serious."

Yuta nodded once.

"…Yes."

Silence again.

Then—

Koshiro exhaled slowly.

"…You can stay."

Simple.

Direct.

He didn't refuse.

But he also didn't fully accept everything yet.

Instead—

He turned slightly.

"…Kuina."

"…Take him to the residence area."

Kuina nodded.

"…Follow me."

Yuta turned and followed her.

Zoro stood there still looking at the money.

Then at Yuta.

Confused.

Curious.

As Yuta walked—

His expression remained calm.

But inside—

Everything was moving forward.

He had arrived.

Shimotsuki Village.

The dojo.

Kuina.

And the path of the sword.

Now—

The next phase begins.
