Alex would ask it about everyone being alive. The entity would explain to Alex that though the beings were alive and safe but the world needed someone to recreate them from the universal core stage and that to do it one would need to be at the Tier 1 level at the very least.
It would also reveal to Alex that his soul had merged with some of universal energy thus making it a super soul.
This soul could exist both in omniverse and in great void.
It also had the function of preventing timeline destruction across multiple worlds of omniverse.
The entity would explain that this kind of souls were rare but they were the only sould which could interfere with the creation and operation of timelines in omniverse so a timeline which is being destroyed mends itself with their help and continues to exist.
This was why Alex had the system. The entity would tell Alex to evolve into a tier 1 entity to bring back his world and its people while he could upgrade the system unlock and to travel to timelines being destroying in each worlds and could save them, in return the worlds would orovide him powers from those worlds allowing him to evolve through the system.
The system would provide multiple evolotion routes for him according to the worlds visited and unlocked and his choices.
Also he must evolve and learn from these worlds because there was a chanve that the outer might again break in through the world wall again as he had done so once.
Hence Alex must prepare for that day to deal with the Outer faster so he wont need to kill the innocents again.
As to why only Alex could do it the reason was simple Alex's soul had merged with the universal energy for any other soul to merge with it the process would take millions of billions of years and even then the process wasnt guranteed.
Even in whole worlds a single chance of a single entity being compatible with tyat energy is
0.000000000000000000000000001% chance only.
And even if compatible soul is found the pricess would be too agonising for a soul and must start at childhood like Lucifer.
Thats why Alex decided to take that burden alone.
Thus Alex was then given the responsibility to save this world for now as this future had two chances to deviate from the timeline and ve destroyed and only by completing the system quests Alex could prevent that.
Before leaving the entity would gift Alex with two skills INFINITY and NIHILITY.
Though as Alex exits that place then tries to see the description of the skills he would find nothing in their description.
As the entity leaves Alex was about to leave but suddenly a shadowy female figure is seen in the space and seeing the figure Alex would stop dead in his tracks.
The next moment a pinkish chain would launch from the void and would pierce through the soul and wrap the soul until he was tied like a mummy.
The shadowy figure would arrive near Alex and would ask STILL WALKING ALINE CHILD, YOU CAN BE FREE NOW. YOU'VE ALREADY DONE ENOUGH FOR THE WORLD SON.
Alex's only one eye would be visible from between the chains but his voice would be heard.
I have no reason to hesitate. Theres no home for ke return, no place to rest no, no one who could understand me or match my growth. If I back down the omniverse would select someone else for this torture. Since Ive been tortured to this extent by you and the world I'll see to it that none other like me are born in this world.

YOU DIDN'T JUST MERGED WITH THE UNIVERSAL ENERGY SON YOU MERGED WITH THE ENERGY OF EVERY LIVING BEING IN OMNIVERSE. YOU NEED TIME TO GROW ONLY THEN THE TRUTH WOULD PRESENT ITSELF TO YOU.
