I leaned against the wall when Warwick stepped into the room, arms crossed.
He stood there looking calm, Calista hovering behind him like she was waiting for her turn to gloat.
"Rhys has agreed to meet. He'll come to the western border facility. What happens next depends on him following through on the terms we discussed."
I didn't react much on the outside. Just nodded slowly. "Meeting. Right."
Elise sat up on the cot, watching him close. "So he's coming here? To your place?"
"No. The neutral ground at the border camp," Warwick said. "But yes, he'll come. And he'll know the stakes," he looked at me. "You being alive changes everything for him."
Then Warwick left after that, guards easing up on the door.
