Rick spat a mouthful of bloody saliva onto the concrete floor and grinned through the split lip.
"I gave you the chance."
"But now it's my turn."
Master Li's emotionless eyes finally twitched. To think that this kid could still look him in the eye after getting hit by his punch. He did not give it is all, but he still used about seventy percent of power behind that attack.
And the way he smiled at him. That smile landed harder than any physical blow could.
Thirty years of training in the mountain, a lifetime of silent discipline, and this young man was treating him like a street thug.
"Boy! Lie down. Accept your beating quietly and I will leave you with just broken bones. Continue this nonsense and I will cripple you for life." Master Li looked at Rick and spoke with a calm, expressionless face.
Rick raised an eyebrow, still smiling despite the blood on his lip.
