Under the blazing sun, on the training field.
A figure sprinted across the track at full speed.
Under his sleeveless shirt and shorts was a body of overwhelming physical power, muscles gleaming under the sunlight like forged steel springs. Every step released explosive force.
To a high-speed camera, Jason would look like a drawn blade, sharp and terrifying.
One lap, two laps, three laps.
The trainees watched from the side, sweating coldly as the blurry figure kept accelerating.
That speed, that stamina, that body…
He was a monster.
Jason slowed to a jog and stopped in front of a student acting as recorder.
"Record it?"
"Yes, yes sir!"
"Good. From now on, train at this level. After that, go to the combat hall. Understood?"
"Yes!!!"
Inside the combat hall.
A group of exhausted trainees supported each other as they entered. The moment they saw Jason standing there, they froze and quickly stood at attention.
The chief instructor nodded in satisfaction.
"Finally starting to look like elite officers. Which class is that?"
"Report! Class Seven!"
"Next. Number A0027, Kevin, step forward!"
On the makeshift arena, Kevin swallowed nervously.
His opponent was the devil instructor from Z City, the monster known as Jason.
Kevin's mind went blank.
This is impossible. This question is too hard.
Standing across from him, Jason exuded overwhelming pressure.
Kevin felt like he couldn't breathe, as if a mountain was pressing down on him.
A monster.
If Jason knew what he was thinking, he would probably say:
Yes. That's Conqueror's Haki.
Finally, Kevin snapped.
"I'm coming, instructor!"
With a roar, he charged forward.
Jason stepped aside effortlessly and delivered a single punch.
Thud.
Kevin collapsed instantly, like a cooked shrimp.
"Next," Jason said calmly.
By evening, instructors gathered for a sparring event. Class Seven dominated completely.
The chief instructor, actually the police headquarters director, stood on the podium.
"Today's performance was excellent!"
He stopped mid-sentence.
Boom.
A loud roar came from the sky.
Everyone looked up.
A massive shadow was falling.
A building.
A half skyscraper was descending from the sky.
Jason's Spider Sense triggered immediately.
There were people inside.
Civilians.
Without hesitation, he moved.
Blue light erupted.
AT Fields formed instantly, wrapping the building. At the same time, countless energy bubbles enveloped every person in the field below.
The building slowed mid-air.
Finally, it stopped twenty meters above the ground.
Then the shockwave hit.
The surrounding area was devastated, but the training camp itself was spared due to its remote location.
Silence fell.
Everyone stared at the sky.
Jason floated there, glowing blue.
"That's Instructor Jason…"
"He's flying!"
"He saved us!"
Jason spoke calmly.
"I'll relocate the building and begin rescue operations. Please coordinate."
The chief nodded, shaken.
"Understood."
Jason turned toward the city.
"A City is likely under monster attack. I'm going."
In A City, chaos raged.
A thirty-meter mechanical monster towered over the streets.
"Gaaah! I am the Crane Machine Monster! I am tired of climbing every day! Destroy everything!"
A broadcast echoed:
"Emergency alert! Ghost-level monster confirmed in A City!"
Jason arrived in the sky.
Below, destruction spread everywhere.
He was angry.
The sky darkened.
Lightning gathered.
"Secret Technique: Ten Thousand Thunder Prison."
Lightning struck down in countless pillars.
The monster was engulfed.
But it survived.
"Who did this?!"
A small green figure floated in the sky.
A girl with green curls.
Jason recognized her immediately.
"Tornado of Terror."
Elsewhere, in Z City…
Saitama sneezed while deciding between discounted chicken breast and beef.
"…Huh? Who's talking about me?"
