You attacked men sworn to uphold our laws to rescue a girl who was the only stranger in the wing when my daughter was slaughtered!"
"She was being tortured without a trial, Uncle Davis," I said, my eyes narrowing. "I rescued a member of this household from an illegal execution."
"A member of this household?" My father stepped forward, his Alpha pressure flaring, forcing the air out of the room. "Let's talk about that. Julian tells me the estate was 'disturbed' last night. Davis says the noise coming from your suite was... feral. Disgraceful."
