Seated across from Sez, his eyes lingered on her neckline. Feeling a bit embarrassed, she touched around her collarbones self-consciously.
Kaen had visited earlier in the morning and almost fainted in shock. After rambling for a while, she tidied Sez’s unevenly cut hair carefully.
Though it looked better than yesterday, it was understandable for him to be surprised when her hair had become so drastically short overnight.
“Does it look strange? I cut it off for a change of pace.”

Matias shook his head.
“It suits you very well.”
His words pulled a weak smile from Sez.
“…Have you been well? I was worried since I never received a reply.”
“Ah, sorry. I’ve been somewhat preoccupied…”
