Sez, who was the princess in the Imperial House of Rowayne of the Den Helder Empire, was killed by her brother, Rayton, who caused the coup. Rayton was discriminated against in the empire for the prophecy that the monster whose hair is black as night and eyes as red as blood will end the whole world, and he had the same appearance as the monster of the prophecy.

Though her head was cut by his sword and lost the chance to escape the empire, somehow she was magically sent back to the past. When she had a second chance to change her fate, she decided to become friendly with Rayton to survive.


Sez's blue eyes reflected Rayton’s shaded face, his own eyes out of focus. He reached out towards her with wide-open eyes.  


Something was off. He was panting, both his murky red eyes and his hands shaking as he reached out toward Sez. 


"Rayton, It’s Sez, your sister. Sez," she said hurriedly. “Are you alright?”


Rayton paused briefly, but that was the extent of his response. Sez spoke, her heart sinking as Rayton didn't react at all, except for a slight pause. 


It felt as if her heart dropped to the floor. He seemed not to recognize Sez right in front of him. An alarmed Sez hastily spoke.


Rayton remained unresponsive for a moment. He gazed at Sez with a vacant gaze locked on her. His swampy, hazy red eyes seemed to twitch briefly. Soon, he rasped his lips with a splitting voice.


Rayton's large hand dropped helplessly and he said to himself.
