Chapter 68
Lisette's bedroom was quiet.
Everything was the same as usual, from the window touched by moonlight and the neat bedding. The only exception was Lisette, who was lying on the floor like a rag.

Lisette didn’t reply. Rayton slowly bent and stretched out his trembling hand.
"Ray…ton."
His hand stopped as Lisette raised her head and looked at his son. She was smiling.
Rayton never saw her smiling in such a way before the moment of dying. She never made a genuine smile like this before today… and she wouldn’t after today.
"Raise me… up….”
Rayton carefully helped Lisette to get up, but failed to even lie her on the bed. He managed to rest her back against the bed.
"Now everything… has done.”
