‘So much for coming here to study. Look at you, you’re here to play.’
Rayton stared at Sez who was sleeping like a puppy, resting her chin on her folded arms. Rayton brushed his hand through Sez’s blonde hair, which was like a golden thread, and poked her cheek just as she did to him.
‘When did she grow up this much?’
The prince suddenly thought to himself. Sez had always said that Rayton grew up so fast and left her behind, or that she was still short compared to four years ago.
It was true that she was short, but that didn’t mean she hadn’t matured at all. Although there were still traces of youth on her face, she had already began to look like a lady. Her eyes were a little bigger, and her nose got higher. She had lost a lot of her baby fat too.
On top of that, Sez would be turning seventeen in just a few months, which meant she’d officially be an adult.
“But once I become an adult, I want to leave the palace."
"… Leave the palace?"
