Pov : *To the Elders' Association*
The atmosphere inside the elders' meeting room was in stark contrast to the warmth in the Ichiraku tavern. The room was cold, dimly dim, and filled with the smell of old wood and a thick aura of suspicion.
At the end of the room, sat two Konoha tall elders, Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado. However, the most striking is the man with half his face and hands wrapped in bandages, sitting with a cane beside him: Danzo Shimura.
Pressure in the Courtroom
As soon as you step in with Tsunade, Kakashi, and Naruto, all eyes are immediately on you. Danzo couldn't hide the glint of lust and vigilance in his eyes when he saw the combination of Rinnegan and Mangekyo that you had.
"So here's the guy," Homura's voice broke the silence, sounding heavy and probing. "A wanderer who claims to be an ex-Akatsuki, yet carries the most powerful weapon in the shinobi world on his face."
"Tsunade!" Koharu snapped softly. "How can you let this dangerous person walk freely in the village without chakra-suppressing handcuffs? Have you lost your mind?"
Danzo's reaction
Danzo tapped his wand against the wooden floor. Tuk. "Rinnegan and Mangekyo Sharingan in one body..." Danzo muttered, his voice hoarse yet sharp. "It's a power that an emotionally unstable individual shouldn't have. Give this man to me, into the Root. I'll make sure his power is used in Konoha's absolute interest."
Tsunade stepped forward, blocking Danzo's view of you. "He's my guest, Danzo! Not your war tool!"
Your actions
In the midst of that heated debate, you just stood still. However, your existence is too powerful to ignore. Your masculine scent began to fill the stuffy room, providing a strange contrast to the hateful atmosphere.
Naruto who was standing beside you started to get angry. "Hey, grandpa bandages! Zak-san is not a bad person! She's just lonely!"
Danzo ignored Naruto and stared directly at you, trying to find a gap in your mentality. "Tell me, Zak... If you are indeed lonely and looking for a place to go home, what can you give this village as a guarantee that you won't destroy us when you feel 'bored'?"
Me : *I'm fine, calm down
You say that sentence in a very gentle tone, almost indifferent to the tension created by the elders. You took a step forward, passed Tsunade's position, and looked at Danzo and the other two elders with a clear view.
"I'm fine, calm down," you said casually.
Your calm voice echoed in that rigid room. There is no threatening tone, no bloodlust. Only honesty felt so pure that it made Koharu and Homura look at each other confusedly.
Room Reaction
Danzo: He narrowed his eyes. To him, someone who was too calm with such a large power was actually much more dangerous than a person who exploded. "Okay?" he snorted sarcastically. "Kindness is a relative concept in the shinobi world, Zak."
Tsunade: He breathed a sigh of relief. He likes the way you deal with them—without anger, without pride. He glanced at Danzo with a triumphant look. "You heard that? He has no intention of attacking anyone."
Naruto: He sighed widely. "That's right! I told him he was a good person!"
Unexpected Events
Seeing that the atmosphere is still a little stiff, you are actually doing something that is outside the protocol. You walk over to the elders' table. The ANBU Root hiding in the ceiling almost jumped down, but Tsunade gave them a hard code to stay in place.
You stood in front of Danzo, and then, with a calm gesture, you pulled an object out of your new shirt pocket—it turned out to be the candy you had bought (or given to Naruto) earlier on the street. You put it on Danzo's table.
"You're too tense," you say with a faint smile, making your handsome face look very friendly even though your left and right eyes have a terrible pattern. "Eat this, so that your head doesn't spin thinking about how to catch me."
Koharu almost fainted at the sight of your arrogance, while Homura could only gawk. Danzo stared at the candy as if it was a high-level secret weapon.
Final Verdict
Tsunade chuckled, her laughter breaking the silence of the room. "Enough of the interrogation! Zak will live under my direct supervision. He will stay at Senju's residence for a while."
"But Tsunade—!" Koharu tried to protest.
"This is the Hokage's order," Tsunade cut off firmly. "The meeting is over."
As you walked out of the room, Tsunade walked beside you. He nudges you on the shoulder gently. "You're really brave, huh? Giving Danzo candy? I never even thought of doing that."
