After the entrance ceremony which unfortunately for me, was quite boring since it's pretty much the same as last time. Although it was the Chairman himself this time who was on stage.
It was already noon and right now, 70-80 percent of students are currently going to their dormitories while some formed groups and went to some of the facilities on this campus.
I decided to walk to the convenient store when someone familiar joined me.
"Hey Ayanokouji!" It was Katagiri Yuuichi I believe his name was, he walked with me as he said his greetings.
"I don't see our other classmates, I guess most of them went to their dorms already." Katagiri said as we both head to the convenient store.
I didn't buy much stuff since I do plan to conserve my points and I noticed that Katagiri did the same.
"So, when do we buy those extra phones? Katagiri asked, you may be asking why we needed extra phones, it was simple really, so that we can either use one of them as our bank and one as a dummy phone where we would be able to make anonymous calls so in case of certain situations, we'd be able to conceal ourselves without giving anyone a hint of who's the caller. It would also be pretty useful for one certain idea that Tatsuya had and wanted to see if it could work. I'm not sure what is but Tatsuya and Kirigaya would be working on once we get those extra phones. Although it would only be one phone for now which our leader Kei would be holding on to, I suggested to Tatsuya that he should also apply this idea once those chosen individuals that were assigned to have their own dummy phones. As for the other phone that will be used as a bank. Katagiri volunteered to hold it. And why do I call it a "dummy" phone you ask? Well because the phone serves as a decoy of sorts. That way it would be difficult for anyone to suspect who the caller is since the names and numbers will be different from the original, and I know what you're thinking, why not just use our own phones? The answer to that is Tatsuya said his idea is a bit experimental so there could be the potential that the phone could malfunction, and if it did then it would be a waste of a lot of points. That's why those second phones don't need to have points. As for the other phone that will serve as our bank, that idea came from Katagiri which is why he volunteered to hold it. Every month when we are allotted our points, each one of us must put 10,000 points into this phone. Since there's 18 of us, that's around 180,000 points every month. Those excess points can be used for future use. It is an efficient way for us to at least save 10,000 points since we could get more points every month as we progress through this school.
"I think we should do it tomorrow; it is getting late after all." I said, just as I was buying the last of my goods, I noticed someone next to me. It was that girl with long black hair from earlier.
"What an unpleasant coincidence" the girl said. Her aura suggests that she has quite the superiority complex. I'm guessing with that she might probably be from Class A, but I doubt it since having this much superiority means that she might be in Class D.
I looked at what she bought, and it seems she's a lot of cheap stuff. "Are you sure you don't want to buy something expensi-"
"I don't need it." said the girl who cuts me off.
I sighed and I said "Well, the least you could do is tell me your name, since you are first girl that I talked to in school"
She didn't respond, did I say something bad? I waited for a few seconds, then she answered
"I'm Horikita Suzune" Horikita? it sounds like the student council president's name.
"If you're just here to bother me then I should be on my way now" she said, what's with this girl I questioned myself.
"Hold on, which class are you from?" I asked looking to confirm my previous inquiry
"Class D, what's that matter to you?" Horikita said.
"I just want to confirm something that's all" I said
"Then I want to confirm something too, which class are you from?" she asked the same question.
As I was about to answer, I remembered something after the ceremony was finished
*Flashback*
"Ayanokouji" someone called me from behind, it was Shigeru-sensei. We both walked to where there aren't many people around.
"What do you want Sensei? I asked
"I almost forgot to tell you, make sure you don't mention which class you come from" he said.
I was a bit curious on why I shouldn't but either way I responded
"Why not?"
"Let's just say it would ruin the surprise"
Surprise? what does he mean by that? I don't know what's going through the mind of my teacher, but I knew the answer to what he meant.
"I'm guessing that it would be quite shocking for most students to see a fifth class around since especially for all the students who enrolled here knows that there are only four classes. Is that what you mean Sensei? I asked as a smirk formed on Shigeru-sensei.
"Exactly, we don't want to reveal it to everyone just yet. Although the teachers do already know of the existence of this class but not the students of all years."
"I see"
"However, it will be revealed by May 1st once your Class Points have been determined. So for now, I want you and the rest of the class to keep quiet about it. Don't worry I already messaged them myself about the matter"
*End of Flashback*
I know that I shouldn't reveal any information just yet, but I guess I have to lie my way out of this one.
"I'm from the second-year, Class 2-D." I said telling my white lie.
"So, you're from Class D as well, and a senior no less. I feel bad for you, but you must be lying, aren't you?" Is she serious right now? well, I can't do anything about that.
"I'll leave now, besides if you're here to joke around then you're just wasting my time" she said as she walked off.
"Hey who is she?" As I looked behind me, it was Katagiri, seems that he was probably somewhere else while I was talking to Horikita.
"It's no one important" I said, now that I think about it, Horikita might be useful to me in some way since she is from Class D, despite her superiority complex, she might be a useful tool to me in the future.
And besides, given that I plan to not hold back against anyone. It wouldn't be fun if I just destroy her or her class so soon. She would be quite an interesting challenge and does have potential.
As we were about to leave, my sight drifted to a guy with bright red hair and pretty muscular body. He looks like a delinquent, since this guy spells trouble. He was confronted by three students.
"What's going on there?" asked Katagiri
"I don't think we should interfere" I said.
The red-haired boy was pissed off by those three students.
"You're from Class D" one random student said
"Yeah, so what?!!" said boy with anger
"I was right, so you are one of those defects huh?" the other student said as all three students laughed.
"What did you call me!!!" as he shouted angrily one of them pushed him to the ground as the three students walked off while still laughing.
"Hey are you alright?" Katagiri tried to help the boy, but the boy shrugged him off.
"I'm fine!"
"I'm just trying to help; I'm not looking for any trouble"
The boy calmed down a bit and looked at us.
"Thanks, I guess"
"It's no problem"
"Anyways, my name's Sudo" he said
"I'm Katagiri Yuuichi, and this here beside me is Ayanokouji" Katagiri introduced himself and I
"Hello" I said
"Alright I guess I'll be heading off now" Sudo said as he walked away
As we were about to leave as well, Katagiri looked at me and asked:
" Ayanokouji, what do you think about this school?" I don't know where this question came from, but I answered it regardless.
"I think this school quite indulgent, even with all of this privilege we were given, there's some strings attached to such luxury. Don't you think?" I spoke.
"I have the same idea; I mean why are we living in luxury if there is a potential catch in all of this to consider."
"But given that our class figured it out quickly, the same can't be said for the likes of them"
"Them? you mean Class D?" Katagiri questioned
"Class D is considered the defective class so my hunch is that they might not have a clue about how the system works yet."
"That could be the case, well I'll be heading to my dorm now. Nice to have this little conversation Ayanokouji" he said as he smiled and went off to another direction.
