Ron walked out of the rune, moving towards the shadow that was crawling on the ground like a snail. Its body was burning in the hellfire, yet it was crawling nonstop. Trying to reach Selina and Alex, who were lying unconscious. As usual, they were useless.
I didn't know why the hell they were even here for; they hadn't done a single thing to help us out, being dead weight and nothing else.
"Something is wrong with him," Emi suddenly said to me.
"Don't tell me, he also got possessed?" I instantly thought of the possible outcome; luckily, it wasn't the case, according to Emi.
"Not likely…" Emi said so, but her voice was uncertain. She didn't know if Ron had gotten possessed or not, surely. All she could do was guess. She didn't have exposure to these superpowers for a long time; in fact, she had gotten them just an hour ago.
